This was our first time to Tumbler Ridge, and Trend Mountain Hotel & Conference centre was very accommodating. Their rooms were updated and makes you feel at home. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The manager was very helpful and very knowledgeable of the local roads and attractions around town. I feel that this accommodation really cares about you... Eight of us stayed one night in this hotel the night before of my relatives stag nights. It was clean, well appointed with all the expected amenities. It was a surprise to be in a modern well decorated hotel in a remote location. Pleanty of parking even for boat trailers. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The property was nice but upon checkout the rate I was quoted was not the rate I was charged. I was told the rate fluctuates with demand. I stayed for three and a half weeks while working in the area. Im sure they made enough money off my company at the quoted rate when I booked the room. This is... More

This was a great find in Northern BC. The executive rooms were well appointed with a small kitchen, spa and king size bed in a separate bedroom. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the Western Steakhouse attached to the Bar is very good. The WiFi is the best I have experienced in a hotel for a long time - Fast... More

Hotel has just had upgraded carpets in all of the hallways on all floors (February 1st 2014) The restaurant is attached to the hotel (no drinking & driving) and has a separate bar and separate restaurant (great if you want to have business meetings).

I was recently on a business trip to Tumbler Ridge and I stayed at the Trend Hotel for 3 nights. The suite was a great size, the breakfast was fresh and had many choices to pick from. The staff there were very friendly and attentive to ones needs. Even though the Hotel receives workers from all walks it was very... More

Stayed here September. Rooms are good, clean and functional. I had a double queen room, great bedding. House keeping even washes the dishes in the rooms kitchen (the first time I've seen that in a hotel) Public spaces are 'worn' due to long stay contractors/workers I would stay here again as it's probably the best in town.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a last minute road trip, knowing nothing of the area or hotel. The front desk agent (WISH I'd gotten her name!) Was incredibly helpful and friendly!! The room itself was immaculate, had a kitchenette, jacuzzi tub, and great view. The breakfast was really good too...still thinking about the waffles... :) Hotel was... More

Recently went to Tumbler Ridge with my wife to check out the town and mines ahead of a possible relocation. We stayed at the Trend for two nights. The property was very clean in general as were the rooms. The beds were comfy so we had a great sleep. The wireless internet access more than served my purposes. The place... More

I stay at this hotel when I am in town on business. It is an acceptable hotel and is the only place worth staying in town. My issue is that the rates vary depending on occupancy which I find highly unethical. I have paid anywhere from $199-$249, which is a far cry from the advertised rate of $139.
