We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The tents are new, clean and well equiped. We liked the braai and eating together in the evening. The location is perfect for visiting the Kruger; in about 3 min you are at the gate.

We had the good luck to discover this new tented camp on the banks of the Crocodile River (just before the KNP gate). Run as a family concern, Scott and his dedicated wife, brother- and sister-in-law opened this wonderful camp so close to the Kruger National Park, to the delight of their visitors. Mainly self-catering (from a central camp fire... More

Didn't want to leave! They welcome you with juice drinks (and a baboon on the balcony!). The rooms look out onto a hypnotic view of the river, where we watched hippos, lions, crocs, impala etc. Games drives were always made exciting by Frankie, who seems to know absolutely everything about The Wild. Saw the Big Five plus many other astounding... More

We stayer four days, using CRSL as a base to see southern park of Kruger National Park--unfortunately we did not realize that it is an hours drive to get into the park over a rough gravel road. The location is on the Crocodile River, which is the southern border of much of the park, but there is a fence so... More

I like to stay away from big and crowded resorts, and this lodge is a small cosy place where my boyfriend and I had a relaxing time sounded by nature and wild life and only about a 30 km away from the Kruger Park. Staff was well trained, helpful and very welcoming. Dinner was fantastic when the lodge’s owner was... More

Opps sorry we did not write a review from our stay last fall. This was the best part of our stay in Africa, initially we went to Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, then to lovely Capetown followed by almost a week at this lodge, Kruger park is so close to visit and you can see if from the lodge, always something going... We stayed for four nights at the end of August, the low season and the lodge was very quite, indeed on two nights we were the only diners. We had a room in the main lodge which was very nice and really good to be free from TVs and other such things, you don't need them just look out the... More

Noel and Lesley Van Niekerk, 1 to 4 November 2013. After a bit of a problem about no TV in the bedroom and not being allowed to invite guests for dinner, we decided to go on with our booking. We must say we were very impressed with the Lodge. All the staff from Management to the servers was exceptional. The... More

We had a very nice stay, and Jacques is an excellent host and very attentive. We booked a full day Kruger tour with them and it was excellent, the best one we had been on, and the packed breakfasts are great. The food at the lodge was delicious. Good place to go if you want to relax.

I booked a room at Crocodile Kruger Lodge in Marloth Park in December 2012 to celebrate the night of my wedding with my husband on 13 October 2013. We confirmed this booking two weeks before the wedding. We also booked the 6-sleeper house for our wedding party from Thursday 10 Oct to Sunday 13 Oct, so we were present at... More

We apologise for the booking mix-up. We did offer them an upgrade to a bigger three bed unit that they did not want to accept. I personally spoke to them and we had e-mail correspondence where I did apologise for any inconvenience ,where after I made a refund for the one night that we couldn't accommodate them in the room...
