We stayed for 3 nights in the Kruger Inn. The owners are very kind, helpful and very concerned with Marloth Park and the Kruger park. We received good and practical tips. We had an amazing first night when we were invited to the charity "braai" for the park. The room was for a backpacker luxurious and spacious with an own... More

My wife and I recently enjoyed a fantastic 4 day stay here and were extremely happy with the high level of quality at the Kruger Inn backpackers! Definitely not your typical standard quality often associated with usual backpackers, the Kruger Inn is definitely the place to stay if you're looking for both an unpretentious and inexpensive place to stay. It's... More

Small, intimate place run by a wonderfull inspiring couple! They know so much about wildlife, care about the enviremont and make you feel at home from the minute you step in to the place! The view from the deck is beautifull

It was 3 of us that came in late and bent out the of shape (at 2 am), with a planned safari at 5:30 am with Alison. My girlfriend and I have been traveling the world for 5 months and we both agreed that Alison was by far the most talented tour guide we've had. She was excited (which got... More

We had a fabulous stay here, so much so that we extended from one night to four nights! A rustic and charming little backpackers, perfect for the environment you are visiting. One must remember that this is a backpackers, not a 5-star hotel. Comfortable bed and clean room, with a nice little communal kitchen and sitting area. But what truly... More

Our time at the Kruger Inn backpackers was fantastic! Located in a lovely quiet spot in Marloth Park surrounded by wildlife(literally giraffes, zebras & warthogs roam the street & residents yards) this gives you the perfect taste as to what to expect when entering the Kruger National Park. Alison & Cor are the most wonderful hosts you could ask for.... More

We had a lovely two night stay in the Inn. It is an Inn, so you should not expect a 5 Star Hotel - also referring to tidiness. There is everything you need, kitchen is fully equipped, room was warm and the bathroom okay. For me a little unusual was that there is just a curtain as a bathroom door.... More

The room was more or less tidy (if you dont look under the bed). Outside is a kitchen, a living area and a small garden. All old and not very well kept. Run down. Insects everywhere. The microscopic swimming pool was quite dirty. All in all, good enough for a cheap overnight stay. The landlady was nice, helpful and friendly.

From my first email inquiry I got all the help I needed from Allison. She gave me info to get my airport transport arranged and her & Cor were perfect owner hosts. I had a little thatched roof hut (Buffalo) with own bathroom. Because I came in close to sunset, Allison drove me to pick up beer and because the... More

Wow, my stay here was absolutely phenomenal!! I stayed here for 3 nights by myself in late summer / early fall and had an amazing time! This place is great for individual travelers to Kruger, which might find it difficult to arrange safaris and affordable accommodation. My first impression was how easy it was to arrange tours through their online... More
