Tony and Danielle welcome you with warmth into their lodge and cater to your individual needs. The rooms are comfortable and the location is a short drive to Crocodile Bridge that serves as one of the entrances to the Kruger Naitonal Park. We spent 3 nights at Turuco Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A shout-out must also go to... More

Turaco Lodge offers a very restful, tranquil setting in the bush. Tony and Danielle are excellent hosts that make every effort to make your stay enjoyable. Because of the setting you are forced to relax. Good location for access to the southern part of Kruger National Park.

The best lodge ever in Marloth Park. Excellent rooms. All the rooms are clean and the beds very confortable. The location is very good. It's near the Kruger Park. In the garden of the lodge we can see several wild animals like zebras or bushbabies. I love the home food made by Danielle and the location of the lodge.

Pros: - excellent hosts, you can ask them anything about SA or all the animals and they will share their knowledge! - great dinner with local cuisine! - very nice front porch with lots of animals in the evening Neutral: - pricey - airport transfer is not included in this guest house (some have it in Marloth Park). You pay... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review for Turaco Lodge - much appreciated! We would like to put the airport transfer costs into perspective, for the sake of clarity for any future guests. The round trip to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is over 200km, with a rather expensive toll gate en route. The cost of... More

We stayed here for 2 nights before moving to a neighbouring lodge in the park. We arrived late and Danielle and Tony made us feel right at home. We were greeted by some zebra, which my 6 year old son got to feed. Tony took us on a morning game drive and knew so much about the park and wildlife.... More

We were referred to the Turaco Lodge through another lodge in Marloth Park due to some travel plans changing and we couldn't have been happier.
