To the person who reviewed this pub (in Dec 2012) as not being passed on a coastal route, we accidentally came across it when doing just that - driving along the coast from the Llyn Peninsula towards the Menai Strait. It is a lovely pub in a quaint village. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, as are the locals.... More

We popped into this pub for lunch this week ...never been before ...what a wonderful find!!!the village was like a chocolate box cover of times gone by ....the wonderful cottages built in the 15th century copied from a village in Italy for a loved one from Italy a gift to her from her husband who was a landowner at the... We booked a table for seven recently and were a mixed party of adults and young children. The meals arrived in good time and were cheerily served to all. Good sized portions especially for the children. Lovely choice of food which reflected the area. My friend commented that she would have eaten anything from the menu and all thoroughly enjoyed... Very disappointing. Menu looked good but on delivery it was very poor. We've been staying locally so have tried the place a few times and for the meal you get it is overpriced and very ordinary. The pub is the only place to eat for a good few miles so it's a shame because they are in a great location... More

There was parking available and an outside beer garden and a filed where the children enjoyed playing in. Will return for more meals when we holiday in... More

I had much greater expectations for the food served here as i expected the price to reflect the quality which sadly did not transpire. After a lengthy wait of an hour , my chicken in a bacon and mushroom sauce was very bland in taste and no evidence of any bacon or mushroom in the sauce at all. My dining... More

We had several meals here at The Harp Inn as part of our holiday at Seithfed Nef, the glamping site in Clynnogfawr. The pub is in a quiet location with a well situated beer garden and the usual pub facilities: pool table, darts board, flat screen TV and an excellent food menu, all of which appeared to be home cooked.... I expected the place to be busy but very quiet for a sunny Sunday afternoon. Food was good but nothing special. Please do not order the pudding unless you want to be ripped off. One slice of chocolate cake which was probably a slice of a £1.50 whole boxed cake from asda and a drop of fresh cream for £5.25.... More

We stayed nearby at a campsite and came to this pub 3 times!!! My husband said the seafood platter (starter) and the Mussels (main) were the best he'd ever eaten. I had the garlic mushrooms which were absolutely delicious. Steak was nice, curry nice but the stroganoff was a bit oily?? Would definitely go again and the girl who serves... More
