We booked a junior suite wanting a little more luxury for our relaxing break. The room was large but the decor was very dated. I assume they think it was in keeping with the old building but I know a suite in the newer part of the building are a lot nicer. The price is the same which I don't... More

Reading some of the review I was prepared for a liitle dated/faded glory here. In fact the room ( 161 ) was fresh , no sign of cigarette smoke that some have referred to . The bathroom is shower over the bath with curtain which could be improved but as everything was so clean and only staying one night this... More

On arrival the grounds immediately place you in a state of relaxation, beautiful greens even if the majority of it is part of a golf course. At reception the staff were polite and helpful. Finding our room was easy , the advice of parking round the back of the hotel by reception was welcome. The room was spacious, cozy, clean... More

Set on a golf course, views from this hotel over the parkland are stunning. It's quiet, rural, very English and beautiful. Parts of the hotel are very old, but the room we stayed in was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. No grumbles!

Check-in was straight forward, no problems. We'd arrived early to sample the afternoon tea and although you need to book this, the receptionist was able to do this there and then. Must say, it was very filling with sandwiches, cakes and 2 scones each. Our room couldn't have been further from reception than what it was but in the event,... More

This is a lovely venue. .even if you don't play golf. It has very picturesque grounds and a small nature walk to enjoy after the meal. The Carvery itself however, I cannot see me recommending to my friends, as it was let down by empty serving dishes and, at times, almost nonexistent service. I may be out of touch but,... More

Easy check-in. Pleased to find that the room was ready early as we had a golf lesson booked so it was nice to be able to settle in and get on with our day. Room was basic and a little dated. I expected a little more luxury. No minibar. No complimentary water. No herbal/frui teas. No bathrobes or slippers. No... More

I visited Breadsall priory for a belated mothers day treat from my son. There were 4 types of sandwiches, my mum only liked the salmon as it was the only plain one, they put mustard with the ham, onion with the egg, vinegar with the cucumber ones. These accompaniments are choice and should have been in pots. The scones came... More

Been here a couple of times now, usually around september/october time. Been so relaxed every time I have been. Very nice treatments and friendly staff. Food is quite over priced however so I usually go just after lunch somewhere else. Will be going back again sometime this year!

Visited Breadsall Priory today for a belated mothers day treat. We opted for the champagne option. Everything was brought out together tea coffee food and all ready poured what we hope was infact champagne! Who knows. A nice selection of small sandwiches and two tiers of what appears to be frozen thawed iceland cakes. No nice view of the grounds... More
