We went to Orkney to see the islands and visit the historic sites. We found the chalets after a long internet search and we felt very lucky. The chalet was warm, clean and comfortable with good beds (and that is rare!), the owners were very welcoming and left you alone to enjoy your stay. It was dark when we arrived... more

Buxa Farm chalets are in a magnificent postion, overlooking Scapa Flow with the most wonderful sunsets and magical Hoy straight across the water. My second visit - this time I took my grown-up son. Accomodation just as wonderful as ever - comfortable, roomy, clean, well equipped, with lovely views over Scapa Flow.
