Lovely getaway location, very much in the middle of nowhere but that was what we were looking for! Perfect location for walking adventures and owners extremely helpful with any advice on these. Very homely, wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed here in June and loved it. We stayed in the corn room a really wonderful view and comfy room. Loved the hiking and ambiance of the area. Peaceful and serene. Great breakfast! Highly Recommended! Noritav & Bill from San Francisco CA

Hello StarPat, thank you so much for your review, we very much enjoyed meeting you and are really pleased you enjoyed your stay. From our house you can walk in very nearly every direction, the highest mountains slightly north of us, the waterfalls just a bit west, the bronze age stone circle, sink holes and caves just east, moor and... We chose Beili Helyg as our base to explore the Brecon Beacons and we were not disappointed, Mike and Caroline have created a great warm place to stay with most of the fresh food in their delicious cooking coming off of their own land including the sausages. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Hello Ray M. it was lovely to meet you both and chat about your historical research. We have quite a few people retracing family ancestors footsteps. It's always amazing to hear their stories. Thank you for being our guinea pigs and try our home grown pork sausages, so glad you liked them. Many thanks for your review. Mike & Caroline More

I recently stayed at Beili Helyg Guest House for the weekend. I went so that i could do the nearby waterfall walk. I had completed the walk many years ago and had always remembered it promising myself that one day I would do it again. Beili Helyg just made the weekend even more special, Mike and Caroline couldn't have been... More

Hello Linda W, thank you very much for your review, it was delightful to meet you both and glad you got to re-visit Sgwd yr Eira and walk behind it. Its something special to feel not just as if at home, but so comfortable as to feel part of the family, my wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay, great food, relaxed atmosphere, clean fresh air and a natural silence that seems to wrap around us like a comforting shawl. Food that tastes of how food used to taste, personal... More

Mike and Caroline have created a wondrous eco-haven in this wonderful part of Wales. Our room - the Hayloft - was spacious, spotless and beautifully furnished. Joy of joys - hospitality tray included home baked goodies each day (scrumptious) and fresh milk to hand from a downstairs fridge. Breakfasts are cooked to order, we had fish options one day and... My Husband and I stayed here two nights-Friday 19 and Saturday the 20 of September after leaving our son at the Student Village in Swansea. Although we arrived later than stated Caroline and Mike greeted us warmly and showed us to our lovely room, they even offered to help with our bags. The B&B is quaint and secluded we slept... More

Hello CindySeg, thank you for the fantastic review, we're so glad you enjoyed yourselves, and liked what we do. We always prefer to walk from the door when we are away, so we like to have planned routes guests can use without getting back in their car. What a fabulous B&B! I wanted somewhere peaceful and very rural that we could use as a base for long walks and cycling. Caroline and Mike were absolutely wonderful hosts and went out of their way to kit us up with local walking routes and to help us map a cycle to Cardiff. The B&B is beautiful inside, clean and... Hi Sophie W, thank you so much for the lovely review, it was so nice to meet you both and have you to stay. We always appreciate the feedback - especially the nice bits. Another superb stop. Beili Helig is more than a B and B, very peaceful location on the edge of the hills, superb breakfast and welcoming fresh cake change every day for your afternoon Tea. Mike and Caroline are the perfect hosts. If you go to South Wales or the Brecon Beacons I can highly recommend this establishment.

Just back from a couple of nights in deepest Penderyn. Great B and B; spotlessly clean and we were made very welcome. I would have liked bigger bath towels and also a bath mat.
