What a fabulous B&B! I wanted somewhere peaceful and very rural that we could use as a base for long walks and cycling. Caroline and Mike were absolutely wonderful hosts and went out of their way to kit us up with local walking routes and to help us map a cycle to Cardiff. The B&B is beautiful inside, clean and... Another superb stop. Beili Helig is more than a B and B, very peaceful location on the edge of the hills, superb breakfast and welcoming fresh cake change every day for your afternoon Tea. Mike and Caroline are the perfect hosts. If you go to South Wales or the Brecon Beacons I can highly recommend this establishment.

The most wonderful bed and breakfast in a lovely setting. The owners looked after us very well and we would not hesitate to return. The breakfasts were fantastic, really set us up for the days walking ahead. We have already recommended Beili Helyg to our friends.

Just back from a couple of nights in deepest Penderyn. Great B and B; spotlessly clean and we were made very welcome. I would have liked bigger bath towels and also a bath mat. Rooms were nice and nice to have cake left out for us. Fresh fruit at breakfast was much appreciated as was the help with locations and... More

Beautiful furniture in all the rooms and a very cosy sitting room. Caroline and Mike were extremely friendly and welcoming and keep the house extremely clean and well stocked. Lots of delicious options for breakfast and a peaceful secluded location. Mobile phone reception is somewhat patchy in the area but wifi worked in all the rooms. Would recommend Beili Helyg... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the end of August. Beautiful location, very well sized and furnished rooms and excellent breakfast. The owners are very friendly and helpful, suggesting walks, providing maps etc. Would happily stay again.

We stayed here for three nights over the August Bank Holiday weekend and had a great time. Met on arrival by Mike and shown around and to our room. He booked us a table at a pub he recommended in Hirwaun for our first night, which was appereciated. We met Caroline at breakfast the next morning, which was very tasty... More

Booked a two night stay for my husband and I for a short break at this B & B as it was close to Penderyn whisky distillery.(first members tour booked) It could not have been better. We were welcomed by Mike and shown around and then taken to our room. Everything was spotlessly clean and what a room. Really huge... More
