Have been staying here when snowmobiling once a year for the last 10 years. Rooms were always "dated" but we're very clean and well maintained. Since new owners took over; room quality has declined. This trip, front door has 1/2" gap under it, carpet is dirty, shower tiles are moldy and falling off, sink formica is pulling up from the... More

Its not up to date for looks but very clean and my bed was very nice to sleep on. No complaints from any one. If we did have a problem it was taken cared of wright away. I would come back and tell others to go there too.

Six of us stayed there in Feb for a sled trip. A great place to start the Abitibi Loop! The trail runs right in front of the property and is easy to find. There is gas and great food (Smoothy's Restaurant) across the street. The rooms are a little dated but are very clean, warm and the beds are comfortable.... More

I havn't been there since the new owners,,,and i dont think i will,,,i called ,,,,phone answered by someone ,,who was very ,,like ,,,what do you want,,,,like i was totally disturbing him ,,,,not at all like a business person at all !! had business too before and you dont treat your customers like that ,,and said the price was $70 ,plus... We booked 2 rooms for the weekend...upon arrival at 11Am...the office was still locked with no one in sight....We waited 15 mins before someone opened the door...When the owner finally unlocked the door, she sat at her desk, never apologized for the office door being locked! Never smiled ...It was like we were doing her a favor for being there.... More

Owner not personable at all.....Rude. Rooms, very , very outdated. Beds uncomfortable. They have heated storage for your snowmobiles, but I wouldn't recommend it. My new sled was clean when it went in. In the morning after a night of teenagers in and out of the garage, drinking and playing on their sleds from 12 till 3am, my sled was... More

I chose this motel as its location served my purpose. Staff is very nice and accommodating, but there are some area of service that could be improved upon! The biggest suggestion I would offer is to shovel the walk in front of the door! There was an ice ridge that made it a little difficult. Also, parking by the rooms... More

Look for the moose statue on the north side of Highway 11. This is an old style highway motel with approximately thirty guest rooms including some kitchenette units.
