This place does have character and our room and bathroom were large and comfortable, with a friendly welcoming host, however, the 'charm' factor was missing. Our bedspread was stained, and breakfast, although beautifully laid out, was very basic. A few extra touches could make this place lovely.

It is a gorgeous chateau, rebuilt after it was completely destroyed, and the owners are, quite rightly, very proud. The rooms look nice and clean with a lot of light coming in through the big windows. A beautiful view from the balcony on the surrounding countryside and the donkey and horse makes it ideal. There were a few things that... More

This b/b was an absolute gem. A bit off the beaten track but fabulous and well worth the trouble finding it. The owner Caroline spoke English perfectly and was well travelled. She was very helpful and accomodating. We had a lovely evening at a local restaurant where no-one spoke English but this made the evening even more enjoyable. We chose... More

I need to put my review in context so I must be clear that this B&B has a lot of charm and a very nice hostess but my expectation was for an efficient small hotel not for something akin to living en famille. If you have unruly children you'll feel at home here because there's lots of space for them... More

We had high hopes for this B+B. In practice most were met with one exception. The house is lovely and grand, the owners were friendly and accomodating and the room was massive and clean. However we felt let down by the breakfast which we booked for 8am and it was still being set up at ten minutes past with final... More

On our way from home to London we decided to spend a night at Domaine de Vadancourt. This little chateau is a charming place to stay, in every way. The building is lovely renovated, beautiful and authentic furniture. Very large rooms and bathrooms, very quiet location, great view, free parking, good working air conditioning everywhere in the building (it was... More

luxury, grandeur, tranquility and all at B&B prices (well nearly!). Well worth a visit, even though we stayed in the rain, it was still beautiful. A short drive into St. Quentin.
