Needed a getaway to relax and enjoy some real spa treatment. A friend recommended the Terme di Stigliano because it is about 1.30mins drive from Rome. Went on the website and there were many different package available. Since I was planning this getaway with my mother, I decided to book the bed and breakfast package. The Terme is located in... A tranquil escape from the crowds and chaos of Rome, we decided to spend a few days relaxing at Terme di Stigliano. Upon arrival, we were amazed by the beautiful green scenery and the views of the pool and hotel grounds from our room. The pools and spas are nice and relaxing. You do have to wear a swimming cap... Just like others, I think this place could be wonderful, but it's disgusting at the moment. The thermal pools are filthy, the cover and wall panels falling apart. The personnel are typically uninterested and the changing rooms have ancient showers, temporary heating and NO light! I hate to think what you could catch here. I can't understand how the managers... My comments only refer to the Thermal Pool as we did not stay in the hotel. It is not located where public transport is accessible however it is not difficult to find from Bracciano. The location is beautiful and tranquil. There is a large and well maintained garden at the back of the main pool. The thermal water is excellent.... More

Doing research for our travel business, we visited the hotel on a Friday. Setting gorgeous, well signed, easy to find by car. All the staff very welcoming, helpful and polite. Unfortunately, the whole place- hotel, restaurant, spa, thermal baths - all slightly run down and needing a coat of paint. Lunch was a huge disappointment, scratched glasses, ran out of... More

We went as a group of four people and booked the November special. Which means we paid 99 EUR per person for the room with double occupancy. With this special, the price was ok, but I wouldn't pay more. The rooms are nice, but rather basic. The beds could be more comfortable. The spa area is very ice, especially the... More

We stayed in the Grand Hotel Stigliano as a friend was getting married in nearby Bracciano. First impressions were good - the location is absolutely stunning, the building beautiful. It has a gorgeous pool and in the July sunshine the whole place looked perfect on the surface (give or take the sulphurous stench, which you kind of have to accept... More
