Truly 5 star comfort but with a *family run* feel, friendly, helpful staff and the welcome drink was just that.....welcome......amazing value for money and Portogruaro is just the same as ever....gorgeous. Perfect base for visiting Venice too as the trains are brilliant. We cpouldn't find fault with it at all.

I always stay at Spessotto when travelling from the Balkans to Italy. I found it very confortable and value for money. The restaurant is good and prices affordable. The only remark is that they don't offer you wifi in the room, just in the lobby. I think nowadays Internet is a must for any hotel. Definitely give it a try.

We found the hotel in the middle of the night and met friendly staff, perfectly nice and clean room and peaceful place to sleep. This is a great hotel and portogruaro is a beautiful small italian town and well wroth a visit. We stopped over to break our journey from marco polo to Slovenia. However you need to be aware it is impossible to find the hotel without help.Park your car anywhere....it is only small...and walk to find the hotel....walk along the main street... More
