Friendly staff, great restaurant (both food and service), very nice room and a very comfy bed. Spotless and welcoming.

We had the chance to stop in to this hotel while making our way through Cape Breton during the winter. The hotel came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint. It was very peaceful, and the staff were wonderful. We were not in the area at a busy time, so there was not much going on, including at the hotel...

Traveled on business and stayed at the Bras d'Or Lakes Inn. Even though it was off season and the restaurant was closed, I had a wonderful stay in a nice, cozy room with a comfy bed and a beautiful view from my window. The staff anticipated all my needs and took great care of me. I left an important document...

wonderful hosts, room was very comfortable and food was fabulous. Chef is a gem, dinner was great, including special cream puff style dessert with caramel sauce, and breakfast equally good with made to order crepes and omelettes. whats not to like. We will definitely be back when we return for Celtic Colours.
Thanks for your comments. Celtic Colours was a huge success this year at the inn. We had people here who love music and good food. What a great combination! Looking forward to next year.

If you are going through St. Peter's and need a place to stay, don't hesitate in going to Bras d'Or Lakes Inn. My name is Glad Legault and my husband is Rosaire and we visited the Inn along with friends who were travelling with us in the middle of August. Their names are Lorraine and Ernest Lapalme and Lorraine's Mom...

While visiting friends in the area this last weekend, we attended entertainment festivities related to the Point Michaud Surf Classic at this establishment's lounge. The affair was relatively low key with the entertainers playing at a level which did not obstruct conversation. Before the end of the night, the proprietor emerged and loudly berated the organizer and sound person before...

Thank you for your comments. You are right. I did not handle the situation very well. I am sorry if I offended you or any one else in any way. Other than those few moments, the rest of the week-end went well. Michelle was very happy and looks forward to next year's event. She worked very hard to make it...

We were so busy sight-seeing, we hardly had time to appreciate this simple but comfortable inn. The room itself was not fancy but everything worked and it was clean. We loved the Inn, with its rustic, camp-like decor. We only ate in the restaurant once and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, where my omelet was personally prepared by the chef....

Bought the package for 1 night's stay then a day's sail on nearby Bras d-Or Lakes, which was very enjoyable, with friendly and knowledgeable Capt. Greg Silver. The hotel was comfortable and clean, well appointed, with friendly staff and rustic rooms with a view of the lake. The real surprise was the attached restaurant, where gourmet chef Jean-Pierre, originally from...

We stayed here for one night on our way up to Cheticamp, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. It was a nice property and the people were very helpful. The room was comfortable, if a bit small for 4 people. Nothing in Nova Scotia (at least where we stayed) would be considered luxury, but this was very comfortable and the restaurant was...

We stayed there on vacation for one night and it was great . The weather was not great but we relaxed in the hottub before supper. The food was excellent . Supper was top notch. Breakfest in the morning was also wow. It is a nice place to stay and the little town is fine for 1 or 2 nights...
