The hotel is faultless in staff, dining, atmosphere, rooms and location. It would be diffificult to better anywhere. However one point does seriously need attention. If you hire a more expensive room facing Downings beach you will have a room safe and bath robes provided. Bath robes are not provided in the cheaper rooms which means that if you want... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during an Ireland round trip. Convinced by the reviews here, we were expecting something nice and relaxing, but it was a nightmare come true. This hotel seems to have its best days long gone. The room (we booked a deluxe room) we got first was very small, outdated to say the least,... More

We stayed here for a special family occassion. All the party thoroughly enjoyed the stay and look forward to returning. The condition of everything in the hotel is superb and every detail is looked at. We stayed in room 201 which was a horseshoe shape and had two double beds and two singles. It is perfect for a family and... More

We spent 4 days/nights at this luxury hotel and were delighted. We had upgraded to a suite that faced the bay, and it was well worth the extra cost...luxury all the way. Beside the great room, the food was excellent and they brought in some great entertainment...one night a twin sister/brother Irish step dancing team performed for a good hour... More

We stayed here for three nights over the bank holiday weekend and it was so peaceful. The rooms were extremely well appointed and we all had uninterrupted views out over Downing's Beach. My only minor concern was the limited opening hours of the pool ... I would have enjoyed an afternoon swim but it was closed until 4.30pm. Check in... More

I've been a few times, once for a wedding a couple of years ago which was first class and just this week stayed for two nights in a deluxe bay view suite. I cannot fault one single thing, room was amazing, bay view was amazing, fantastic service, really great food etc. will definitely be back.

We recently stayed for 3 days at the Rosapenna I found the quality of the rooms and food to be first class with the staff being most helpful in a nice unobtrusive manner. The golf was world class, two amazing courses with very differing charactersitics in excellent condition. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Rosapenna for your next Golfing trip!!!

I was staying in Portsalon recently and a couple of friends were staying in this hotel. We had planned to meet up and play golf on both courses which we did over the course of the week. We called over on a Monday afternoon/evening to meet with our friends and joined them in the bar of the hotel. There were... More

The Hotel is excellent, the people are first rate, the location is to die for and golfers will welcome the comforts after battling Sandy Hills. The view from the room's veranda was outstanding, see below. The room itself was very nicely appointed, and the bath was elegant. I only ate the Irish cooked breakfast, and it was fine. I'm a... Two nights stay at Rosapenna hotel, weather good and lovely hotel with excellent staff, courteous and efficient. Used swimming pool and sauna which were clean and refreshing. Room was spacious with balcony view over bay. Food good. Played 18 holes at Old Tom Morris course, very challenging but when coming to the tenth tee box two adults and two kids... More
