I recently made my first trip to the rosapenna for a family wedding. What a great day and stay we had. Hotel is big and spacious with lots of comfy chairs. The food and service was first class, everything went like clock work. The rooms where big and spacious with good views.

The hotel and golf is always good . This year I thought the restaurant was very good, but not its usual excellent. The room was spacious and the golf course fantastic . This was my fourth visit and I will be back for more. TThe original evening menu was better , with its extra course.

Superb hotel with fabulous views of Sheephaven Bay. Stayed for two nights B&B with one evening meal and two rounds of golf for a party of ten people. Great welcome, friendly and pleasant staff and really good food. Rooms were excellent, extremely spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Excellent links golf on the Tom Morris course, the weather even cooperated... More

Second golf vacation visit through the north of Ireland. A must stay visit. The rooms are very large, the view delightful, the staff gracious and the food delicious. The owner is on staff and extremely attentive and affable. The Sandy Hills golf course is superb albeit very difficult and challenging. I love this place.

This is a very traditional resort in traditional golf style. Perfect for larger groups, and the natural interest is of course golf. Two nice links courses just beside the resort, where Sandy Hills is clearly the one for the ambitious golfer. Nice breakfast and dinner service with a lot of staff.

We got married in the golf pavilion and stayed in the hotel. The whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. The hospitality we enjoyed and the service we received were out of this world. Thank you so much to the proprietor Frank Casey who took personal responsibility for our big day and all of his wonderful staff. The venue... More

The hotel is faultless in staff, dining, atmosphere, rooms and location. It would be diffificult to better anywhere. However one point does seriously need attention. If you hire a more expensive room facing Downings beach you will have a room safe and bath robes provided. Bath robes are not provided in the cheaper rooms which means that if you want... More
