Room had great view of Swan Lake and Mt. Fujisan. Photos at dawn / sunrise are spectacular. Bath was average size for Japan; bedroom also cozy - not cramped but neither spacious. Hot baths (onsen) on site were pleasant. I did not dine at any of the restaurants at the hotel, so cannot give an informed opinion. Staff was very... More

Situated at the top of a fairly steep but safe hillside drive. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside. but once inside.... The views are amazing..standing on the balcony and seeing for the first time the magnificent Mt Fuji appear out of the mist simply had me in tears. We stayed in a Japanese style room..western ones are available..amazing.... More

This is a perfect place to stay in if you want to experience Mt Fuji. Its clean and good locator. The food is delicious and the hot spring is perfect. Accessible for wheelchair user and good parking. I would recommend you to try this hotel if you are going to see my Fuji up close

We booked this hotel for views of Mount Fuji and were not disappointed. There had been cloud around the mountain the day before but we managed to wake up at sunrise and see Mt Fuji loom up before us, majestic and marvellous from the view of our 6th floor balcony! The view is worth it. It was very reasonably priced.... More

We came to this place for the view to Mt Fuji and that's what I got. The hotel is located on top of a hill overlooking the lake and facing Mt Fuji. Staff has limited English but we managed. Restaurants are a bit pricy but it is quite convenient to take the shuttle bus down to the village where there... More

Driving in is special- hotel Mt Fuji is quite a way up the drive way perched on the top of a mountain. Level 4 has been re-furbished last month. We had a Japanese western room which was clean neat modern & spacious with a little balcony overlooking Fuji-spectacular views! They also provided a baby cot for ¥2000. We also saw... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night only but want to come back and stay at least 3 nights. The hotel is old and grand and very large. We booked a western / japanese room. We loved the room which was large with 2 areas - the western bedroom area and the Japanese dining room / sleeping room area.... More
