I stayed in one of the chalets during Pueblo Ingles. The chalets are comfortable though not luxurious. The meals were good. Be prepared for cool evenings even in August. Iffy wi-fi requiring regular logging in.

I have have come here 3 times. Each time for 2 weeks with Diverbo. The first year I came I wrote a review and since then it hasn't changed. The villas are excellent, they are always clean and the cleaners are always nice. The food isn't great I'm not going to lie but I am getting used to it by... More

I am not sure of what can be the reason for coming here, in my case was to get to know a place of the country that is isolated and I was not familiar with. Except the population of La Alberca (2 kms. away), that is famous for an untouched centuries-old arquitecture, it is not a very touristic zone. In... More

I had the privilege of spending 8 days in a private villa at Abadía de los Templarios Resort. This medieval property is pristine and lives up to the title of "resort." Although the hotel facade is that of a castle, you'll find modern amenities like a resort style pool, tennis court, basketball court and spa. You'll fall in love with... More

We spend 3 nights there in November, and the children loved the castle-like architecture. Our rooms were in the main building, quite spacious, with comfortable beds. It is not a business hotel, but the furnishing fits the character of this building. There are plenty of rooms in the hotel to discover; the spa area is nice, albeit a bit small... More

Dirty chalets, dusty beds with no headboards. We were Anglos as part of Diverbo English course, staying in downstairs room. Cleaning bucket et cetera parked in corner of sitting room. The food was okay. We left early.... However, main hotel looked nice. We waited there whilst waiting for our escape taxi.

I stayed in the "villas" the older part of the hotel. Everything was good. Two separate bedrooms, two separate bathrooms, a lounge/kitchenette, smallish TV. (No foreign-language channels at all. Spanish or nothing.) Two balconies. Cleaned daily, maintained well. Really, what more could one ask for (except perhaps an in-room safe ...)? The wifi did not work in the rooms, ever,... More

Lovely country location with stunning views. Described as villas which I thought was a bit optimistic, more like apartments. Set on two floors, with one twin bedroom up a flight of stairs with en suite bath/shower, toilet etc. Downstairs, twin bedroom, with en suite shower room, toilet etc. T.V. and telephone are provided. Suitable for a family or two couples.... More

A disneyesque confection in the middle of a forest area. The attractive village of La Alberca is about a mile away and a gem in the middle of nowhere but it gets hoards of Spanish coach trips after 10am so get to the village before 10 or after 5 to see it as it should be. The villas at the... More
