Spent a week in chalet No 2 with partner + 2 teenage girls + exuberant dog. Although the weather was miserable for most of the time, all of us enjoyed ourselves in our own ways. My gf & I enjoyed the walks, the peacefulness & the beauty. My 2 teenage girls spent most of their time in the surf or... More

If you are on a Wild Coast adventure trip, this should be your first stop into the land of Paradise. Amazing views, massive property, clean good rooms - something of everything for every traveler. Do take caution that when it rains in the Wild Coast, everything gets muddy and wet...no amount of housekeepers and groundsmen can keep up with keeping... More

Buccaneers is beautifully located next to the beach in Chinsta and it has both chalets, dorms and a camping ground. The chalets are quite nice but could do with some renovations. The camp ground is situated at a very muddy lawn and everything gets quit messy down there. The staff is very friendly but very confused and uninformed. It took... More

I was recently traveling with my girlfriend up to JHB, and we stopped at Bucs for a night. We were welcomed by amazing staff, great food and an awesome view from the newly built private room called Tutu, which overlooked a river crossing. Plenty of cool spots around the premises to chill out. Really enjoyed my stay. many thanks from... More

Stayed here as part of a sardine run trip, in one of their luxury bungalows. While Buccaneers aims mostly at backpackers/budget travellers, these bungalows were really nicely appointed, well laid-out, with comfortable bed, small living area and nice balcony. Dinners, if you are eating there, are communal and shared with everybody - one theme per night, repeated weekly. Food is... More

Location is amazing. Great vibe and friendly staff who will go out of their way to make sure you get everything you need. It's gorgeous, there are friendly dogs, decent food and overall great value for money. There's lots to do here, so plan to stay for at least 2 or 3 days.

Even though it was pretty quiet when I was there, Buccaneers is a cool place to stay. It's well located just minutes from the beach, the view from the dorm is breath-taking. Dorms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is lovely! Only down side is the bathroom which is a bit old. But overall anotger great place in Africa

We aren't backpacking the coast like most we have met here, we've just been having a relaxing few days on route to Durban (from UK) for the Comrades race. The accommodation is fantastic and amazing value, well kept and we have a beautiful balcony overlooking the lagoon and sea. But the whole surroundings are stunning. All staff are helpful and...
