We stayed here for 4 days in July 2014. Sujith arranged a safari for us and the driver was excellent. He was very experienced and knew exactly where to wait for the leopard so that our jeep was right in front as the leopard came out of the bush to drink - very exciting. The room was lovely. Extremely spacious... More

We had a wonderful stay at My Village. Lovely relaxing garden, nice room. Sujith and Justin could not have been more welcoming - fruit juice when we arrived, tea in the afternoon, lovely food and fantastic service. Sujith arranged a wonderful Yala safari trip for us with a really good driver, we hired bikes and rode round the lake, Justin... More

The rooms are large and spacious and look very trendy but not very functional. For example light and fan switch by the door and not near the bed! There is little furniture in the room except a bed and dressing table. The showers look good but are mounted very high and are a challenge to work how to use them,... More

We had the seperate 'villa' across the main building where the restaurant was...My first impression: wow.. we had our own big garden, and this cute little house with 2 rooms. The simple, modern design, combined with the warmth of the sub tropic climate of Yala/ Sri Lanka was very well done. The owner is a very friendly young man, who... More

Little bit out of "town" but really peaceful, great value, amazing food and possibly the best service ever - recommended. Free bikes to explore around the lake, organised our safari at a good rate, very easily and nice extras like tea/coffee without having to ask. The usual Sri Lankan howling dogs in the night the only minor downside but think... More

This is the type of guesthouse you can sit back and comfortably relax in beautiful surroundings - flora and fauna! Rooms spotless and very spacious. Comfortable bed. We ordered the rice and curry for dinner every night and this always included a mulititude of delcious side dishes - it was always more than we could eat. The Sri Lankan breakfast... More

This is a delightful place - recommended to us - with lovely rooms, a warm welcome and a tranquil courtyard. Safari to Yala was arranged with no trouble at all with an excellent driver. The food was also excellent. The plumbing was a bit whiffy, but you get that in Sri Lanka. We just kept the bathroom door shut. Other... More

This hotel was picked for us and I was pleasantly surprised, we stayed only for 1 night and it was clean, comfortable with beautiful gardens, food was average. Bicycles was a nice, as we was able to get out and about. This place is ideal if you want to go on safari. Again don't know if this hotel is expensive... More
