If you want to immerse yourself in the wines of Mendoza and spoil yourself at the same time dig deep and spend the money to stay at Cavas. The building is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, The WiFi works everywhere. The food is great. But as with all the best hotels in the world what makes the... More

This is a slice of wine country heaven! Cecilia and Martin, the owners, and their staff made us feel right at home. The food was excellent and beautifully served. Our casita was roomy and comfortable. It was a unique experience to walk under grape arbors to the casita. It would have been nice to have one more comfortable chair and... More

and I travel extensively for business and pleasure. This place surpasses all - yes even Lapostolle and the Lake Palace Hotel. Talking to the delightful and hospitable owners they obviously had a clear concept of what they wanted Cavas to be and how they have succeeded. Of course there is the location; there are the activities; there's the food; but... More

I don't know what else I can say about Cavas that hasn't already been said a dozen times. This place is a really fantastic hotel in a gorgeous location with exceptional accommodations and customer service. We had a tough time getting there, after being turned away at the Argentina / Chile border for not having the right rental car paperwork... More

It was our third stay at this marvelous place and I have little to add to what the other reviewers have already said. This place is essentially paradise -- we don't usually get to paradise in our lifetimes but this place challenges our beliefs in that respect. There's a new cook since last time we were there, and he's a... More

We stayed for three nights and could not believe such a place existed on Planet Earth. We were treated like the 'rich and famous' the moment we stepped out of our car. Only went on one wine tour of the area because we just didn't want to leave our luxurious villa with the huge private patio (backing onto the vineyard)... More

We opened up our first trip to Argentina with a 3 night stay at the Cavas Wine Lodge in Mendoza. What an wonderful way to start our trip! Cavas Wine Lodge is situated right in the Vineyards and has a beautiful main lodge, including cozy dining areas, spa and wine tasting cave. Our first night we were treated to a... More

you will be spoiled as soon as you walk through the door at cavas. The staff seems to be able to anticipate your needs. The food is delicious, the staff is superb and extremely knowledgable about wine. The sunsets over the Andes mountains are incredible so make sure you have dinner on the rooftop at least one night. Also make... More

We stayed for five nights and it was honestly fantastic. The staff are just fabulous and can't help you enough. The food in the restaurant is amongst the best we have sampled during our 5 weeks in South America. Wine tours by bike, white water rafting etc etc all arranged by the team at reception. You do feel that everyone... More

Cavas wine lodge has been with no doubts the highlight of our stay in Argentina. It is a marvelous resort well camouflaged in a vineyard overlooking the Andes with big, bright, clean and well designed rooms (almost mini-houses) in a typical but contemporary Andean style. From the moment you walk in, a sense of piece and relax will embrace you.... More
