There is no doubt that this is a beautiful property providing luxury accommodation however compared to other similarly prices and rated resorts that we experienced in South America, this one disappointed from day 1. On arrival (around noon) we were half-heartedly greeted and told that our room was not ready and our only choice was to have lunch while we... More

Dear jenny s, We thank you for your review and we are truly sorry to hear that your stay was not as expected. The main feature of our corner rooms is their privacy, being located at the far end of the row of vines with no neighbors around; additionally they command beautiful views of the Andes and many acres of... Indescribable perfection in all aspects: the most amazing staff (special thanks to Felicia and Cecilia for all the tips and arrangements that made our trip all the more perfect), separate bungalows with private pools and rooftop fireplace facing the Andes that make you never want to leave the room, all of this set literally inside a vineyard - you walk... This might be the most unique luxury experience you will ever encounter. All free standing villas within the vineyards. Imagine 55 acres of vineyards with private villas secluded with westerly views of the Andes and all the luxuries you would expect of a five-star hotel... in a casual environment of natural building materials and textiles (photos on previous spread). Indoors...... More

The highlight of our trip to Argentina - exploring the winelands was lovely. Cavas Wine Lodge is a very special hotel, the rooms are casitas out in the vineyards, very spacious with your own garden and plunge pool, as well as a roof terrace to either watch the stars or the sunrise, it was lovely. It's a Relais & Chateaux... More

My husband and I spent 4 days in Buenos Aires then flew to Mendoza. This Lodge was so beautiful with the grapes still hanging on the vines..we visited right before harvesting so the grapes were plentiful. The property is very romantic like something one would see in pictures. The service was great and the food as well. The wine tasting... More

Words cannot properly describe the heavenly experience that we enjoyed at Cavas in February 2015. After checking into a woeful hotel in Mendoza, we remembered that friends had stayed at Cavas in October 2014, and raved about their stay. Several phone calls later, we arrived at Cavas the following morning, and the magic began. Welcoming and pampering staff, knowledgeable about... More

our room was very spacious and comfortable. The terrace on the roof gave exceptional views of the night time sky. Nice patio with our own plunge pool was also nice. They arranged good wine tasting tours with their own drivers as well as many other activities if you purchase the package. The staff is exceptional and go out of the... More

My husband and I had decided to elope and get married in South America. When we came across Cavas Wine Lodge, we knew this was the perfect place for our special day..and it was beyond perfection. My emails were always answered quickly and effectively, the staff at Cavas were wonderful to correspond and plan with. Once we arrived and actually... More

A beautiful Relais and Chateaux property set in the middle of the vineyards. Tastefully decorated main areas and well appointed villas. The service, in particular concierge was excellent. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed discovering a new wine and grape (Bonarda) at the wine tasting offered every night. The dinner menu is small and hence food fresh and... More

If you want to immerse yourself in the wines of Mendoza and spoil yourself at the same time dig deep and spend the money to stay at Cavas. The building is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, The WiFi works everywhere. The food is great. But as with all the best hotels in the world what makes the... More
