A great place to stop and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. Our room, in the annex across from the main building, had twin beds and a rather small bathroom, but had been refurbished and modernized. It could have had more electrical outlets. The wifi was free but spotty. In the evening they served a fixed three course meal.... More

Our family of three stayed in this hotel for one night on the way to Jotunheimen Mountain. The hotel is about 20 km away from Lom and is located in a very beautiful setting. I usually like contemporary / minimalist hotels so I was not very excited about the antiques in the hotel. But I can imagine those who love... More

The nature there is beautiful. There are lots of paintings and old decorations everywhere. The people were very friendly. Not the best quality of the beds but the place was so amazing, that I did not really care about the bed. We slept for 1 night on our way back to the airport and had about 3 hours to make... More

After re-reading TA reviews, I believe there are different types of rooms. Unfortunately, we were given a room in the oldest building that is connected to the main building. Our room (#526) was tiny and austere. The view was pretty awesome but for $256 I expected a better room. I'd estimate the room was a mere 8'w x 15' L... More

The Hotel is set in a beautiful location. The decor in the main building was very quaint and beautiful. We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant. However, our accommodations were in a separate building, since we wanted a private bath with our room. The room we stayed in was pretty basic and sparsely furnished. The separate beds were not comfortable... More

Never in my life have I ever fallen in love with a Hotel. This place was paradise on earth. Really a very quaint place full of Norse Gods painted on every room. The furniture antique and wonderful. In the morning when you get up it is all misty and cloudy. There is no TV or telephones in the rooms. When... More

When we reached Lom we were under the impression that the hotel would be close to the City Centre so was quite disappointed to find that the hotel was 20km away. But once we reached the hotel and the drive to the hotel blew away all our disappointments. Brilliant hotel within century old buildings. Very traditional. The owner couple were... More

The reviews I read before staying at this hotel made it sound very interesting and it was one of the more reasonably priced hotels we found for our trip to Norway, so we didn't have any real expectations. The hotel sounded good, but the reviews could not have prepared me for the awe that the hotel brought when we arrived.... More

Would have loved to stay longer, and will definately book again! The 3 course dinner was very tasty. The starter, home made tomatosoup served family style in a terrine, was better than mine! We slept in a newly renovated room, in a wonderful quality bed, and woke up rested and ready to enjoy Jotunheimen. The host and hostess are kind... More

This is the greatest place to stay! When my cousin couldn't walk stairs and get to the dining room, they set a private table for him with delicious dinner, candle/ambience and all! Rooms are immaculate and lobby and dining filled with art and antiques!
