On checking-in we were informed that we were the only guests that evening so had the hotel to ourselves. Luckily the restaurant was going to open regardless as there are no other options nearby. Comfortable room with views of the monastery. Definitely go and listen to the monks chant at one of the allowed times.

As a group of 3 females, we stayed in this hotel for 1 evening. What an unbelievable experience. The view were breathtaking!!! It feels like you are staying in another lifetime of peace and complete tranquility!! An extremely affordable establishment for what is on offer. The rooms were spacious and clean. The evening dinner was lovely with Nicolae the waiter... More

Quiet comfortable hotel room. Very pretty surroundings. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. (good English) Wifi worked in our room, but not in others based on an overheard conversation. Dinner was a bit pricey for the quality, but portions were great and service very helpful. They have more than 1 menu. Hotel guests get a cheaper in price and ingredient selection... More

We stayed for one night and were very comfortable. This hotel offers great value for money with terrific choice for breakfast. Really nice restaurant for evening meal that was not expensive and the head waiter makes your evening all that much more special and enjoyable, great ambience what a great asset this guy is to the hotel. Young guy on... More

Located in the hills above Lesa, this was a unique treat. Rooms were spotless and the restaurant was very good. Plenty of safe parking outside was available. The bar was open early enough to sit and enjoy the scenery while waiting for dinner. Definitely a good value.

The church entrance is both amusing and mysterious. The Vespers are sung by monks in Latin. The restaurant has a very nice headwaiter and the meals are reasonably priced. The rooms are more than adequate (if you don't mind not having a TV). Many local sites (Castillo Javier, Foz de Lumbier, etc.) make this a great place to spend a... More

We were just passing through the area and stayed in Hotel Hospederia de Leyre one night. We felt very privileged to have been able to stay in a place so tranquil and with so much history. The hospederia itself is large and with many rooms and there were few other guests while we were there. Our room was on the... More

The monks run a mean ship, this is one of the best guest houses I have ever visited. Clean as a whistle, comfortable rooms, simple but tasteful, a warm, inviting atmosphere. The meals in the restaurant are good, hearty local fare cooked with real love and attention - absolutely lovely and a bargain as well. The views are simply stunning,... More

Possibly the best 2-star hotel we have ever stayed in – plus it’s an amazing building. The room itself was very clean, simple and very pleasant. The bathroom and shower were excellent. There was no TV but wi-fi was available. We ate dinner in the dining hall. The food was excellent, but the place was nearly empty so it lacked... More
