I chose this place on rather short notice. It was conveniently close to our place of work. Situated in the roads which climb up towards the hilltop castle and part of the old town, you'll need to drive slowly and carefully. There is a car park a little further up the serpentine road which leads to the castle. There are... More

I booked into this hotel with a friend and my son aged 2 yrs. I booked through booking. Com which asks for how many adults and children in your party and the age of your child. When we arrived at La Mega Rooms, I was asked to pay upfront before I saw the rooms. I asked up front for plenty... More

We had booked the junior suite for two nights as a special treat for my wife. On the 12th )8.2014 There was no chairs or table in the suite, just a mattress on the floor with something like bean bags to sit on. No wardrobe to hang up our clothes just a grubby cupboard, The shower room had no paint... More

The hotel is worth the search, made a bit more difficult for us with road works closing the road. The hotel has been beautifully and stylishly renovated with modern minimalist styling. Not sure about the bathrooms though, personally we prefer a bit of privacy! Estellas service was excellent and her breakfasts are great. They were creating a new car park... More

Yes it was a bit difficult to find - just don't believe your sat nav and head towards the castle and it becomes a lot easier. We spent 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed both exploring Xativa and our accommodation which was spacious and comfortable. Estella was highly attentive and breakfast on her terrace every morning was a great start... More

Although quite centrally located, La Maga Rooms was frustratingly difficult to find as there is no street sign, no hotel sign, tourist information closed... But with the help of a kind local man we finally stepped into the cool La Maga Rooms and our spirits were immediately lifted by Estella's friendly welcome and the wow factor room! Our room was... The La Maga Rooms, is minimalist in design, and may not be to everyone's taste. The polished concrete walls and floors makes sitting on the castor box chairs an interesting experience, and not entirely practical. However, the quirky nature of the establishment and the welcoming staff make this a unique experience in location well suited to exploring the old town,... More

We had booked the suite for 2 nights but our first surprise was to hear that it had been given to a newly-wed couple. Therefore, we would be given a simple standard room for one night and the following we would be set in the suite (and charged a normal standard rate). Even if helpful, this was quite a bad... More

I stayed in this hotel last month with my boyfriend and it felt like we walked into our own private home in Spain! The location is great, it was about seven minutes walking distance from the town center. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a queen size bed and the bathroom was gorgeous. The owner was always there... More
