Casa aldomar is an authentic four storey traditional Spanish terrace house. We stayed right on the tops level, just a small flight of stairs from the roof top terrace. The rooms are clean and comfortable (the water not quite hot enough) and the hosts so helpful, one english and one spanish. We were so pleased to have found such a... More

In the beautiful authentic medieval Spanish town Xativa we find an guesthouse / hotel with the same qualifications. Immediately after we enter, we feel at home by the familiar atmosphere. Seats next to the fireplace, a cosy small breakfast facility, and soft easy listening lounge music, while the house lord makes every effort to make us feel at home. On... More

This place has a great location: in the middle of Xativa and surrounded by very good stylish restaurants, such as El Tunel (tapas deluxe) and Il Padrino Due (thin, crispy pizza’s). The casa itself is superb too: classy and modern at the same time. The moment you enter this place, you feel at home and don’t want to leave anymore.... More

A charming, modernised 17th Centruy Town House / Villa. Immaculate and modern interior with very comfortable and spacious rooms. Very intimate, I only saw another 4 rooms. Two furnished terraces overlooking the town rooftops and up to the castle at different levels where we enjoyed a glass of wine on before dinner. Can't really speak more highly of it, a... More

No other advice really. Great little town, great hotel, great owners, great rooms, great everything. There literally is no other reason to look at other hotels in Xativa. Ask for advice and you will get everything you need.

Having booked this hotel on the basis of the excellent reports on TripAdvisor, it was great to find the hotel more than lived up to the reviews. Xativa is a delightful old town, and Casa Aldomar is situated near the heart of the town, but on a quiet street. The rooms are simple but pleasant, and Ian was a great... More

The above applied to the town (easily accessible by train from Valencia) as well as the small hotel (which was simple and well designed/decorated) which we visited in late September 2011. We were immediately made to feel at home by Ian and Jose, who supplied us with a wealth of information, advice and encouragement to tackle some of the walks,... More

He was very helpful and knowledgeable with the areas, gave us detailed side trip sightseeing agenda. thanks Ian!! he only has 4 rooms, so book ahead and you won't be disappointed! we made the mistake of booking only 1...
