We just came back from a 3 day stay at the Clayton couldn't find fault with anything there it was possibly the nicest hotel we ever stayed in. The rooms are lovely clean and comfortable. Just back from a enjoyable 2 night break. The hotel is very modern with a very high standard of service. The only gripe i would have is that the barman was on his own a lot and when it got busy you had to wait about 10 mins for your drink which sometimes was a bit annoying.Not the barmans fault.... more
I stayed at the clayton for 2 nights last weekend. The hotel looks really great. Our room was spacious and very clean, no complaints at all there. The problem was that, as I've seen in a lot of comments, there was an adjoining door between ours and the room next door. The noise levels were crazy..we could hear what people... more
Just back from a one stay in the Clayton Hotel in Galway. Upgraded to an executive room and for €30 and well worth the money. Rooms were huge, clean and luxurious. when we arrived our room was not ready, but the receptionist arranged for up to relax in the bar with complimentary drinks, thats what I call using your initiative.... more

This hotel is wonderful its rooms are luxurious and comfortable especially the lovely comfy bed!! People may complain about noise but we stayed on the side of the main road and once the door was closed to balcony it didnt bother us too much the bed was comfy enough to make up for it. Stayed in the Clayton using the Super valu 3 night mid week break, which I might add was excellent value. Family room v spacious, clean and we were v impressed. The hotel staff here are absolutely brilliant! My boyfriend and I came here to relax after I'd finished a semester of college, and I couldn't get over how accommodating the staff were. Loved my stay at the Clayton.This is our third time staying here and it just gets better.The beds are wonderful also the bathrooms and the quantity and quality of the towels and bedding is excellent. If I could find a fault it would be the food service in the bar.How long can it take for a soup and pate? But... more

We stayed here for 2 days I have to say the hotel is fab. The rooms were huge. The beds real comfy and you could get lost in the bathroom. The real problem is the staff in the restaurant and bar. They seem to be like robots the lights are on but theres nobody home. They cant answer a question... more
