I recently organised a hen weekend to Craigengar. It can only been described as something you would see on Grand Designs! The house was absolutely beautiful inside and out. Beautifully modern with so many unique decorations, you could spend hours looking at the pictures and other special features. The house is so well equipped it is difficult even to describe.... More

Craigengar Lodge is hard to fault, very, very nicely finished with lots of living space and nicely appointed bedrooms really well planned to limit any transferred noise . Everything we needed was available and the owner stressed that if we found anything at all missing then we had only to ask - we didn't need to ! Location is very rural... More

Hello, "Reiverone" I love your review. Many thanks for taking the time to post it. I usually recognise the guest who has posted the review and email my thanks direct, with a bit of my usual chit-chat! However I am not sure of your email address, so glad of the opportunity to post a management response. I do hope we... More

Lovely week in the fabulous Craigengar. Eight adults and three big dogs and we still had loads of room. Very very comfortable and amazingly well equipped. We self-cater at least four times a year and this is the best we've been to. Well done, G, and thank you for creating such a lovely house.

Thank you so much to Geraldine for a fabulous weekend at Craigengar. I visited at the beginning of June with 17 of my hens and we couldn't of asked for a better place. The place was immaculate, modern, comfortable and very well equipt - we were short of nothing. Craigengar is also on its own in the hills which meant... More

We had such an amazing time at ORLEGE end cottage. We contacted G the host on the morning of our booking and by early evening we had checked In. The house was an absolute find in a very unassuming setting. The house is beyond five star we felt that we never needed for anything during our stay. Once we were in... More

I used this venue for my week-long training retreat and I have nothing but praise for it. Incredible building, spacious, beautifully designed, lots of light, warm when needed and great access to the outdoors. The kitchen must be the best equipped of any venue I've ever encountered (my caterer was ecstatic!) My participants could not believe how comfortable their rooms... More

Absolutely everything you could ever need and stuff you didnt think you needed...highly revommended!

Many thanks, Allie, for this lovely review. Usually I recognise the name of the reviewer and email my thanks directly, but I think you must have been part of a hen group and I do not have your email address to do this. Hence my thanks via a Management response for your taking the time to post such a nice... More

Having stayed previously in the Wing but since expanded our family (and recruited an extra family member for help) we decided on Steading as it appeared to offer the most comfortable sleeping arrangement for a family of 5 plus aunt/nanny/slave at an affordable price. And without having to worry too much about waking G's friendly neighbours.pleased to say it proved... More
