Top notch B&B. Welcoming and friendly hosts. Excellent quality bedroom decor. Great bed. Could have done with a simpler entertainment system. 3 remotes defeated me! Breakfast was excellent. Only downside is the proximity of the busy A590 road. However, that would not put us off staying again. Throughly recommended. George McA more

This had everything you would want in an overnight stay. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The host was very hospitable and just the best breakfast you could want. Would definately recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a guest house with all the home comforts. more

This was our second stay at Jenny and Stuarts wonderful Lakeland retreat....and what improvements they have made, and talking to them, things will only get better. My wife and I have B&B'd all over the country and this is the first place that actually does something for the dog they charge for, and the charge is only a pittance anyway!... more

We stayed here for a birthday weekend away. We received a warm welcome from Jenny, who showed us our room (room 1 with private balcony - lovely!) and ran through the "formalities". The room was spotless and spacious, and more than adequate for us and two dogs! Water bowl, dog beds and chews were provided, so the pets are treated... more

Bert the dog enjoyed it and if you own greyhounds ,whippets or lurchers you might find jenny,s book about training greyhounds very useful. hope to go again next year very nice people. more

We stayed at this B&B last year after deciding to go to the lakes for our wedding anniversary. What an excellent choice we made! We were make to feel very welcome and Stuart and Jenny's local knowledge is second to none, and they helped us with where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see during our stay.... more

Great little B&B in a pretty and convenient spot - can walk to lovely nature reserve and village, and quick drive to lakes and nearby towns. Was perfect for a short break away from the mess of London. Room was immaculate and really homey, with great views of the garden. Food was really good too - nice to get decent... more

Just got back from staying at Beech Hill House B&B in July and had a really enjoyable, relaxing stay. We stayed for four nights and the accommodation was very clean, comfortable and remarkably spacious for the price; the ensuite bathroom we had was particularly nice. The breakfast was excellent - lots of fresh local produce - with a lot of... more
