Loved it. Great countryside restaurated 18th century adobe construction. Good installations, very decent (italian) kitchen, good service. The owners have put in an excellent effort of recovering the place after the 2010 earthquake. Not too many activities in the direct neighbourhood except for walking or cycling. Surrounding Colchagua valley is fantastic. 30 minutes by car from Santa Cruz or Pichilemu.

My fiancée and I stayed here in March 2014. The thing that I love about it was the staffs willingness to keep their guests pleased. Basically our every request we had was granted and with a smile, from having our lunch tables set up outside under the beautiful grape vine to having coffee brought to our rooms in the morning.... Perfect place for a deep sleep. Rooms and bathrooms are silent and very large. The staff is particularly nice and caring. The restaurant could be better, as the plates we had where not good at all, perhaps we should have had pastas.

This restored 17th century monastery is a special place. The owner/proprietor Viviane, and her daughter Stephanie, took amazing care of us, arranging tours and lunch reservations at the surrounding wineries, and hosting a fabulous New Year’s Eve party. The rooms are large modern and beautifully appointed. The chef and meal service is top of the line. The pool and all... More

Very nice place with a super restaurant. Maybe a little bit expensive, but the it's all good. A relaxing place in the centre of Chile with a large garden and beautiful horses. What can I say? Go there :))

As stated by Gitano19 the buildings and ground are really beautiful but the residence is far from luxurious. Having worked myself in resorts in far flung places, I understand the challenges mgmt faces specially in the Human Resources area. Low occupancy impacts the level of service provided when the hotel gets busy because the staff is simply not in gear.... More

Overall quite disappointing, particularly for the price which is pretty high by Chilean standards. The buildings and grounds are beautiful, but that was about the only highlight. We stayed on a Saturday night and were the only guests, so the place felt deserted. It was very cold at night and the heaters were not turned on, nor were we provided... More

We loved the Residencia Historica. We booked absolutely at the last minute for the last room available over easter weekend. We booked one of their two apartments because we are a family with two kids - one room for the kids one room for adults and a livingroom for the parents while the wee ones went to bed early. The... We stayed here for 4 nights in March, and it was a treat. Rooms were huge with nice modern bathrooms and the grounds were well maintained. The staff worked hard, especially to convince us they make the BEST Piscos Sours in Chile. We had a fabulous lunch one day in the arbor courtyard and also were escorted by most gracious... More

Very nice hotel, uniquely located in Colchagua Valley. Although the room was very basic (no safe, no airco, no television, no alarm clock, no minibar, no WiFi), the overall experience was very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is excellent, and there are lots of things to do: there is a swimming pool, ping pong tables,... More
