We stayed here while on a walking holiday in Transylvania. The situation is superb with views all around of the mountains. Moeciu de Sus still has several traditional farmers and from the guest house you could watch them at work. Although the accommodation is simply furnished, everything is comfortable and welcoming. The family cook traditional dishes with fresh food from their gardens. There is also home made cheese, jams etc. This gave us an insight into Romanian cuisine. Nothing was too much trouble, the heating was put on if it was cold in the evening, some visitors appreciated the WiFi access, the family did washing for us and they even bought my husband a birthday present and made him a cake! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. more
