Received a very warm welcome of tea and cake from Gay and Merv when we arrived. Good accommodation, great bed and shower. They were very pleased to share their knowledge of the local area. Need to drive down to the village to eat. The lodge had a good menue and excellent service. This home stay is an excellent location for... More

We arrived at Gay and Merv's wonderful home after a great hike up Mt. Robert. The views from the hike had been amazing and the views from their home were wonderful too. Their home is a few killometers outside St. Arnaud and that adds to the quiet and peaceful setting. They offered us tea and fresh rasin bread when we... More

Beautiful private home located just outside of St. Arnaud. Gay and Murph was an incredibly helpful and hospitable hosts and interested in everything and gave good directions to the tour. Nice and clean room, beautiful and well cooked breakfast. Can be strongly recommended.

Unfortunately we stayed here for just one night and would have liked to have stayed longer. This is a homestay, so be prepared to talk to your hosts and fellow guests; it's part of the experience. The two guest rooms are first rate and the owners - Merv & Gay - have tried to think of everything to make their... More

My husband and I stayed here over Christmas and it included our 20th wedding anniversary. The hosts were wonderful, providing excellent food and hospitality and even going out of their way to make our anniversary so special with a special request from myself! Such peaceful lakes and scenery. Other overseas guests were also special people.

Beautiful peaceful environment. Our room had it's own entry through glass sliding doors. Through the doors was a view of snow capped mountains as was the view from our window. The lounge is very comfortable, hosts full of information and enthusiasm. Home baking delightful. Peaceful and quiet.
