Carrying on the 100% theme, Donna’s House is what it says on the tin. We were greeted and looked after by the wonderful Mario who works 24/7 but always with a smile and a giggle. The superior room with the double bed had a perfectly okay shower and plenty of light with dual aspect views of Pyrgos and Santorini below.... More

Choose this B&B if you want to live what is left of real, genuine Greece. Pyrgos is an old, traditional Greek village, just a few kilometers from the nearest beaches. The car/scooter is a must. Not too many tourists around in June, and a few typical tavernas nearby serving delicious food cooked at the moment. Hosts very welcoming. Quite good breakfasts... More

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Our first floor room was of a good size, clean, tastefully decorated and furnished. Situated in the centre of the island and near Pyrgos village square but away from roads the tranquil garden provided the perfect place to start the day with breakfast, which were large and delicious, or return to and relax... Positioned in the centre of the island Donnas House is in the perfect position to visit the whole area . A car is essential to visit all corners of this varied island. Coming home to this beautifully kept retreat was paradise from the hustle & bustle of this sometimes crazy place, perfectly kept rooms beautiful secluded gardens & very helpful... More

We were a party of two couples travelling independently through the Cyclades and Dodecanese islands and spent a couple of nights at Donna’s House. Donna left some years ago and the Pension is now owned by a local called Manolis Fytros. As I understood it, his wife, Cvetelina manages the B&B with her brother. We had hoped to stay a... More

Pyrgos itself has an "old school" feel of being away from it all that you just dont get in the popular Perissa/thira/oia resorts. There is an hourly bus, no street names and everything is either up steps or down slopes. We loved it. The management at Donna's were really helpful, providing a map to/from the guest house as well as... More

It was sad that we only stayed two nights in this little boutique B&B on santorini / pyrgos. The highlight itself was staying with the owners in their wonderful garden till late and having a laugh and good conversations - as well with some other guests. Not be afraid - if you look for relaxation it is very quiet. The... More

Finding this gem was a little difficult. I was by myself and when the taxi dropped me off, pointed up a narrow stairway through twisting lanes, I was a little daunted. Even when I found a small sign and knew I had arrived at Donna's House, I was knocking on the back door for around 15 minutes before I realized I... More

This beautiful old converted mansion is in the heart of traditional Pyrgos Village and is a super spot to locate yourself in Santorini. More or less in the middle of the island, there are beautiful walks in all directions. With the help of the owners we hired a quad bike and had heaps of fun zooming around and visited all... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, breakfast was great and the room was good size (with a nice bathroom that had hot water etc). A couple of things - there wasn't any shampoo in our room (but we had our own supplies), just something to note. Also - and this seems to be a bit common in the places we... More
