We had dinner at La Casa di Melo a short drive from Fontane Bianche and well worth the effort. All organic dinner, wonderful setting, attentive service and unique courses. Best restaurant in the area based on our week at the beach.

Amazing place in an organic farm setting. Friendly family setting and the rooms are nicely furnished. We had a room without tv and never missed it. Also did not need the aircon which was provided, because the room was so airy! The breakfast is fantastic. Infinity pool so nice refreshing and calm. It is quite funny that we noticed that... More

Great location for exploring since this is so easy to find! The first farm stay of many that was so close to the sights on our list ( Siracusa , Ortegia , Noto, Akrai, the beaches..). It is off a main road which connects Siracusa and Cassibile. Easy even driving at night if you wish to enjoy the best restaurants... More

My husband and I have been living in Italy for a few years now and we decided to take a trip to Sicily. We came across this agriturismo near Siracusa and decided to spend a few days there. Amazing. Is the right word for it. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable room and eccellente food. Homemade sweets for breakfast, with fresh orange juice directory from... More

I booked this agriturismo on the basis of the reviews here and can only assume the management has changed as it seemed like a different place altogether. We had a balcony room. The balcony was nice but not private (you can see and hear guests from the room next door on their part of the balcony) and the view is... More

Well it's good to know your experience here, we can say that everything you wrote is correct but we can also say that is not and here is why: - We did not change management we simply have shifts since we are a family and we also run an organic farm so we need to schedule our days depending on... We just returned from staying at La Casa di Melo. The room was spacious and comfortable. Very quite. Food was very good, we had dinner there too and we absolutely loved it. The pool was so relaxing. The GPS did not locate it but Lorenzo helped us find the place. If you are looking for peace and quite, this is... More

What a fantastic place, it was so nice we decided not to bother seeing Siracusa as we needed a break from the hectic driving around Sicily! The room was gorgeous - very spacious, with a lovely balcony terrace. The bed was very comfortable and we had a very relaxing stay. The pool is lovely and the food is amazing and... More

The location was perfect, set in a citrus grove and the hosts were delightful. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, especially the ones with the terrace. Breakfast in the courtyard was wonderful and it is well worth booking ahead for a dinner which featured local ingredients. For those who like a haven away from the tourist crowds this is... More

La Casa di Melo's first impression, when you arrive, is almost of a Spanish courtyard. The area has been redone to its lovely original lines, with quiet modern touches. The scent of orange and lemon blossoms hang in the air (it's spring in Sicily now) and the overall atmosphere is contagious relaxation. The owners, Ciara and Lorenzo, were open and... More

We had an excellent week at Casa di Melo, the room was lovely and the staff were all very charming, friendly and helpful. They offered a wonderful 4 course Sicilian meal in the evening, made with locally sourced organic ingredients. We ate there every evening and each meal was a delightful surprise, the Ricotta cheese with their own mandarin marmalade... More
