Spent 2 nights here and the staff were very helpful and friendly, the food was very well cooked and presented. Floors very creaky as you would expect from a building this old. Would have had 5 stars if shower worked more efficiently and the room was larger. I think we had the smallest in the hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights, and is simply an amazing place. Rooms are well furnished and looked after, with all necessary amenities. The food is first class, along with the service. Overall a fantastic hotel located in a beautiful area, we will certainly be back again. Thanks ! ;-)

We stayed for three nights with our two young children and both sets of grandparents (one with a dog). The hotel is set in beautiful surroundings with plenty of local attractions. On arrival staff were efficient and welcoming. We had booked 3 rooms at the last minute and had a combination of old and new rooms. The hotel is undergoing... More

For many months our choice of wedding venue was much deliberated. We decided on Maesmawr due to the confidence and trust inspired after meeting Lee, the events organiser, as well as the quality plus size of the venue. We were getting married in a Church some distance away but Maesmawr outshone all others so the distance was a by-the-by. Lee... More

Just back from a four night break at maesmawr. The hotel was excellent with superb food and wonderful staff. We had a superior room which had a sitting area and a large bathroom with a good shower cubicle. The room was very quirky with lots of beams. The bed linen and towels were of excellent quality. The food at the... More

We have just stayed here for a weekend for a relative's wedding and had a great time. The building is a very pretty Jacobean style timbered house with a modern extension and set in lovely grounds with mature trees. The staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble and it has a lovely relaxed, quiet atmosphere. The food was... More

I stayed here for 3 nights on business and everything about it was very good. I had a lovely room with fantastic views out over the fields and I ate my evening meals in a cosy room with a roaring fire. The service was that good that they even contacted me in my room to see if I was eating... More

Just got back from a two day (one night) training residential here and was very impressed. The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic spot. The rooms were top class and the food was the best I have had in some time. The best part was probably the service though. Most professional and attentive staff I have come across. Thanks.
