We stayed here as a couple and I cannot fault the place, everything was perfect from the second we arrived. The staff were very welcoming and asked how our journey had been, they informed us about how to get on the wifi (the signal was poor but we didn't mind as we actually like talking to eachother instead of spending... I stayed here as a lone female for two nights whilst preparing for and undergoing a two day rigorous interview process. The building, surroundings in fact everything was stunning! Staff were so friendly, genuine and helpful. I stayed in a room still to be refurbished (new carpets in place and beautiful new ensuite but frankly the room was still stunning!... More

We stayed on a three night break offer. The hotel is in a building that was originally built in the16th century and as a consquence has a delightful quirky charm. There is no lift and the stairs have varying degrees of depth which can be a little disconcerting to the less nimble. However help was readily available with the luggage. Our... More

We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 4 small children on 12 June. Make sure you check before going if your room is refurbished or not. We had a room which hadn't been refurbished. The carpet was grubby, the wallpaper was peeling, the decor was very dated, the bathroom was carpeted, etc etc. Truly terrible. We were clear... More

Beautiful hotel in beautiful location. Staff were brilliant. Room was excellent, very comfortable double bed, excellent night's sleep, best I think I've ever had in a hotel! (room 7). The room was too hot to begin with as the radiators couldn't be turned off, so I had to open the windows, but it was OK afterwards. (shame to waste energy... More

I could not believe I found this hotel by chance, you make your own luck and I am so lucky that I do, I was meant to have a business meeting about solar panels locally, i put hotels in the "en route" in the sat nav and this one came up. I drove here as I was early for my... More

Have stayed at Maesmawr Hall twice now and really like it. Set in a lovely rural location, surrounded by fields and a river. The main timbered building is beautiful and has a lovely dining room. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent as was the service.

We stay at Maesmawr a couple of times a year as part of our small group tours of Wales and it never disappoints. Lee and staff always take very good care of us and we feel as if we have come home as soon as we turn up the drive. Lovely food and a great wee bar make the experience... More

Stayed at Maesmawr Hall on a mini-break and were shown to the Coach House annnex which exceeded our expectations, with a super-king bed and a separate lounge. If there was a moan it would be that the bathroom was downstairs, but it was superbly fitted so it was a inconveniance we could live with. The food in the restaraunt was... More
