Simply the best B&B ever. My partner & I had the most warm welcome and enjoyable stay at the Oaklands. Mal & Anna are the perfect hosts. These people know how to run a B&B. Can't wait to find the time to come back and enjoy their hospitality. Plenty of help and advice about local attractions if you're not familiar... More

We received a very warm welcome and very helpful on telling us the best places to eat and any help if needed. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable and even thou it is on a main road we did not find it noisy. The breakfast was delicious and very helpful in changing the menu to suit what... We were booked into this establishment as a pitstop on a working weekend!! Mal and Anna are really lovely friendly people! Room was beautiful and breakfasts where delicious!! With fresh eggs from their own chickens! My husband asked for an iron and ironing board and within seconds it was provided! They also pointed us in the best direction for local... More

We stayed in the room at the front, which has a comfortable four-poster-bed. A spacious, nicely decorated, and clean room with large windows. We were a little worried about the traffic, but did not hear any noise after all, being very tired after walking Offa's Dyke. A good choice for breakfast, even an assortment of different teas. A map on... More

Booked an overnight stay at short notice for me and my wife. Lovely ensuite room with one of the biggest most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Good breakfast served hot not luke warm like some places. Nothing was to much trouble for our hosts Mal and Anna. We would definitely stay again.

A most comfortable overnight stop on the Offa's Dyke path. Very welcoming owners who went out of their way to be helpful to everyone. Really comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom. Delicious breakfast with a wide choice of dishes and really well run B&B.

We have just returned from our second stay with Anna and Mal and have already booked for next year!! This is a terrific guesthouse, spotless, great breakfasts and wonderful, caring owners. We are so pleased to have found it. The location is great for so many places, simply because even if it is a drive away.. the drive to anywhere... More

A friend and I stayed here when we visited the Eisteddfod in Llangollen. It was very convenient as we had a car. The twin room was small but very adequate for our two night stay.It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. A well prepared breakfast was served in a pleasant dining room. Our fellow guests were very... More

This B&B sits in an elevated position above a fairly busy road between Llangollen (4 miles) and Ruabon. There are four clear parking spaces, a small but pretty garden and a couple of places to sit outside if the weather is good. There is a bus stop right outside the gate. There are four steps to the front door for... More
