Enjoyed our stay at this traditional old inn at Kirkton of Glenisla. Wonderful log fire in bar/restaurant area. Food was excellent. Great value. Also dog-friendly which was a major factor in booking the hotel in first place.

Slightly mad but I walked the Cateran Trail on the first week of December 2011.

This place is brilliant! We booked here for the 5 day Cateran Trail Package (and for an additional day at the end). It was a really great holiday. Warwick & Shelley are really nice genuine people. A small glen hotel of character and comfort, unpretentious, peaceful location, attached pub well used by locals. Comfortable residents lounge with books/games and television with access to 40 channels. Very comfortable beds, lots of hot water for bathing after a hard day's walking and a real treat not to have a television in the bedroom. Run by hard working couple...

The...
