Stayed at the Bayview Hotel in December for a short break. It is a warm, friendly and homely hotel offering a fantastic cooked breakfast with freshly home baked bread. I hope to visit again in the near future.

A lovely and well maintained hotel. It is evident that a lot of passion is running the business and guests are so well hosted. We felt wanted and cared for and were somehow sad having to leave. The hotel location is magical and the rooms are cosy and well equipped plus the views justify the name of the establishment idyllically.

A small Hotel operated by the owner who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome - terrific breakfast with fresh fruit, freshly baked bread rolls and the usual cooked options. Anne was also very helpful with directions to local sights, things to do etc. The rooms are old fashioned, but clean and comfortable. There is a great... More

Anne was extremely helpful and always interested - without being intrusive - in what her guests were doing. She gave us a list of recommended restaurants and we were happy with the ones we tried. The breakfast offered a good choice and the breakfast room is very homey. We didn't try the honesty bar but it's a great idea. A... More

I stayed two nights for a work trip. Anne welcomed me on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful. I stayed in a first floor family room and it was clean, cosy and spacious. The decor could possibly do with a touch of updating but this is a minor thing. Great service throughout my stay and the breakfast was great!

Just home after spending 3 nights here. Great hotel and wonderful host. Clean and spacious rooms. Very good generous breakfast. Excellent location. Also has an honesty bar and a residents lounge. Thank you so much Anne, we had a wonderful holiday!

My partner and I felt very comfortable in the Bay view hotel which was homely and clean. Everything worked and was clean, and little touches like the hospitality tray being replenished were appreciated after a long walk! Anna the proprietor was friendly and helpful with local knowledge. The breakfast was the best i've had in a hotel, with good quality... More

I planned a walking weekend with my dogs along the wonderful Moray coastline. The Bayview Hotel was a perfect base. Sitting above the harbour this hotel offers great views across to Portknockie along Cullen beach. On arrival the proprietor offered a warm and very informative welcome and willingly let me borrow some very useful walking guides. Room 4 was perfect... More

Jet-lagged and very tired, we stumbled upon The Bayview Hotel after failing to find accommodation in near-by Portsoy. Our 'fairy godmother' must have had her eye on us however because this lovely little hotel turned out to be a real gem - a fantastic old-fashioned 'guest house' in a lovely location complete with a warm welcome and wonderful old-fashioned service...
