We loved the location of this hotel as it was wonderful for walks and even saw a sunset - not as good as the West Coast of Scotland! We had a nice spacious ground floor room in a nice quiet area. The evening meal was lovely with a nice varied choice. Buffet breakfast was OK but I would have liked... More

Spent 3 nights here on a short break. Hotel is comfortable but a little tired in places. Recommend booking a room with sea view on the first or second floor. Great view in the morning. Breakfast is buffet style and reasonable with choice of usual fruit, cereals etc. and also cooked options. Bar prices were a bit steep I thought... More

This hotel is stuck in the 70s but having said that it is very clean and very very white. The staff with a couple of exceptions are extremely helpful and friendly. It is a great place to base your Guernsey holiday. Breakfast is buffet style and generally ok but can vary. Some mornings there was a wait for eggs, sometimes... More

Its 3 years since I stayed at/reviewed The Peninsula - and on my return trip I was not disappointed. Since my last visit, the public rooms have had a facelift which suits the ambience - but the brilliant service & food have continued unchanged. As a solo, female traveller I still feel this is one of the most comfortable, relaxing... More

The hotel is staffed by friendly and efficient people. Nothing is too much trouble. We are in most evenings and the food was great. This hotel is close to many attractions and the pool and beach are also very close by. As the week progresses the stresses fall away and total relaxation takes over. We recommend this hotel highly which... More

The hotel is set in a great position overlooking a picturesque bay in the north east of Guernsey. The rooms are very good and the Restaurant serves excellent food. It has an evening 5 Course Dinner for £18.50 which is outstanding value and top quality. The Breakfast is a Pick your Own and includes everything you would want and more.... More

Very good food with plenty of choice served. All staff were extremely courteous. High standard throughout except for the bathroom which was ready for refurbishment. We had a very relaxing holiday and used local buses for £1 to any destination.

There is nothing negative I can find the write about this hotel unless I start to nit-pick. The location is fantastic right next to the beach and well worth paying a tiny bit extra for a magnificent seaview. There is a pool and grounds as well as being quite close to St Peter Port and of course all the other... More

Just back from a two night break here to attend my niece's wedding. On Friday night we ate from the table d'hote menu, four lovely courses and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was self service with a lovely choice or juices, fruit, cereals, cheese, ham and a full english selection, with wonderful hash browns. The wedding reception was superbly organised with... We visited the hotel for the first time and it was excellent all the members of staff were so friendly the food was the best ever and every where was spotlessly clean. It is situated in a beautiful area with the sea at the back and the front and is very accessible with buses a really special hotel to stay... More
