The Mill at Glynhir is, as the name suggests, a strange assemblage of architecture on several levels not far from a river bank. Originally a mill, built in the 17th century, this establishment provides an unusual but totally pleasant experience. This is not a place that stands still once it has achieved a certain standard, but is always looking to... More

We spent 5 nights here, dinner bed and breakfast, at the end of September. From the start, Hollie and the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming, but without being intrusive. We stayed in the Glynhir suite - they are doing up the rooms I believe, and no complaints at all about ours: extremely comfortable bed and... More

Stayed here this summer and was disappointed with the quality of accommodation, food and service. The Mill is located about a mile and a half from the small town of Llandybie in quite beautiful countryside. The 'hotel' itself is an unusual and characterful collection of rooms, but although our first impression was that the room we were taken to was... More

This is easily the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. Our room was a good size, but the standard of cleanliness was very low, with cobwebs everywhere. The breakfast room was also filthy - one morning there were no bowls out for cereal and when I asked, the waitress handed me a stack of bowls which were all dripping wet... More

I wanted somewhere for two nights whilst visiting relatives and a bit of shopping around Camarthan area. Lovely location, nice friendly welcome, breakfast more than ample. Room needed refreshing with paint etc peeling off, dust around the skirtings etc, TV didnt work, difficult to get hold of someone, booked a double room and got a twin and bloody noisy people... More

Stayed the night after a wedding in near by Llandeilo, checked in early just to drop the bags off which wasn’t a problem with them – very accommodating. So didn’t really get to explore the room or rest of the place until morning. It’s a very welcoming B&B and the breakfast was nicely cooked, especially the scrambled eggs (could do... More

This B+B is set into the hill in the country side, there is a golf course within close proximity but no local shops or pubs within walking distance. If you are looking for a relaxing break to just chill out then this is an excellent choice. The B+B was clean with friendly staff and the restuarnt and lounge area was... More

I travelled with husband and two girlfriends as we were spending 4 days doing waterfall walks in Neath and the place we'd stayed at before was fully booked with Ryder cup. Their loss. We loved the photos on the website and the thought of swimming pool and spa baths at the end of a day's hard walking seemed heaven. We... More

The smell of a log burning fire as you enter the quaint building is enchanting. Everything is comfortable and maintains the character of the old building, yet the modern subtle touches are evident. The single room on the ground floor had a double bed and en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The bathroom had obviously been recently referbished, with everything new... More

After an initial friendly greeting on our arrival, it just went down hill from there, after being given the key to the "Carreg Cennen" room, we entered and were greeted by a musty, run down, dated, dirty, cobweb covered room. The dead worm in the bathroom looked like it hade been there for weeks. The breakfast was horrible! Worst £90... More
