Helen and Matt are the perfect hosts as nothing is too much trouble for them to provide for a wonderful stay at The Mill. You can be assured of a great welcome with more than enough to eat at breakfast, you will not go away hungry. The work carried out on the property to bring to a very high class... More

We just got back from a 16-day trip in England and Wales and The Mill at Glynhir was easily our favorite place we stayed! The hosts, Helen and Matt, are so warm and genuine, you feel like you are staying with friends. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, and the location is peaceful and quiet. We slept great... More

Discovered through Google maps for a business trip, the Mill is a great place to stay, thanks to the most tranquil location, and the excellent refitting from Mat & Helen, the charming hosts. Although a long way down an increasingly narrow track, the rooms at the Mill have been outstandingly refurbished to a very high standard, complete with air conditioning,... More

Stayed in the upper room. Very well fitted out with a comfortable bed. Easy parking. Good breakfast and plenty of it. One note of caution, steep slope from the upper room to the breakfast room, probably not suitable if you are infirm or have mobility issues. Ask to be put in one of the lower rooms if mobility is a... More

We stayed at the Mill as a group of 10 (9 golfers, 1 horse rider) for 3 days and cannot recommend it highly enough. The Mill sits in a beautiful tranquil setting, adjacent to Glynhir Golf Club - perfect for a group of golfers. Matt and Helen booked all our golf at appropriate courses for our group. Matt even unlocked... More

So sorry we only had one night here (For a wedding). We were all made so welcome here, the surroundings are beautiful, the rooms very high standard and the owners Matt and Helen are really top class. Nothing was too much trouble and their renovations are exceptional. We can't wait to have a return viit.

We came to find The Mill purely by chance & what a treasure we found ! Perfect setting, warm & welcoming hosts, beautiful rooms equipped to a very high standard with all mod-cons & exquisite detail. The Mill is being very lovingly restored by Matt & Helen and sits in its own grounds with lovely walks, through woods, past rivers... More

We had a marvellous break here. Helen and Matt were very generous hosts and made us feel very welcome. The refurbishment of the rooms has been done very tastefully and with care and attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious, especially the smoked salmon. The Mill is in a beautiful and tranquil setting. We would definitely stay here again and... More

The accommodation was beautiful, immaculately clean with tasteful decor. The location is secluded and feels like a little hide away in the mountains. Breakfast was a feast fit for a king - superbly cooked or not if you would rather continental - is all the extra little things that Helen and Matthew remember that make you feel a little spoilt....
