As someone who travels a lot to work, I stay in many bed and breakfast establishments. I can honestly say that this is one of the best places I have stayed for a long time. Excellent hospitality in a very comfortable, extremely clean and well appointed room. Definitely on my list of places to stay again.

I recently had a two night stay at The Mill at Glynhir and what an amazing place. The building is clearly a lovely old 17th century mill set in 3 acres of lush green lawns and forested area complete with a water-lily filled pond and a river running gently at the bottom of the grounds and very close to the... Originally a mill that became a small hotel and is now an excellent B&B. The property is undergoing extensive restoration and renovation by the owners Mathew and Helen. The units released so far are finished to a very high standard indeed and each has its own front door with plenty of parking. The location is good for touring in South... More

The welcoming and down-to-earth new owners, Helen & Mat, are doing a wonderful job at rescuing this amazing mill property. The first phase has been completed recently. The self-contained B&B rooms are finished to a very high standard, and are simply superb. We fell in love with the beautifully wooded and hilly area. The mill and collection of buildings cling... The important thing for anyone reading this to note is that this place has new owners and has had a complete refurbishment. The hosts are lovely. The apartments are of a high standard and specification with very thoughtful and modern touches added. The views and general setting is outstanding. The breakfast is fantastic with high quality ingredients.

We recently visited South Wales and stayed at The Mill. Not only is it set in a beautiful and peaceful location, our whole stay was great. Our room had it's own parking and access so we could come and go as we pleased. The room had been newly renovated, was clean, tidy, had the most comfy bed and lovely en... More

we stayed on a "romantic break"and were attracted by the location and promise of excellent food, both were well above expectation so we dined every evening and even made every breakfast!!!!! freindly and helpful staff, the owners obviously have their hearts in the mill and this creates a relaxed and warm atmosphere, the mill is undergoing some improvements so a few things are... The Mill at Glynhir is, as the name suggests, a strange assemblage of architecture on several levels not far from a river bank. Originally a mill, built in the 17th century, this establishment provides an unusual but totally pleasant experience. This is not a place that stands still once it has achieved a certain standard, but is always looking to... More

We spent 5 nights here, dinner bed and breakfast, at the end of September. From the start, Hollie and the staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming, but without being intrusive. We stayed in the Glynhir suite - they are doing up the rooms I believe, and no complaints at all about ours: extremely comfortable bed and... More

Stayed here this summer and was disappointed with the quality of accommodation, food and service. The Mill is located about a mile and a half from the small town of Llandybie in quite beautiful countryside. The 'hotel' itself is an unusual and characterful collection of rooms, but although our first impression was that the room we were taken to was... More
