Arrived at 7 o'clock on Friday , to be advised by the barman ( who was very pleasant) that the Kitchen closed at 6.30 but he would speak to the chef and try and arrange something. we were given a limited choice as on the deal. Food quality was poor, pub was filthy. Room was dated and poorly maintained. Woken... More

The room was large and comfortable. The owner Jackie was very friendly and the location was perfect. The lakes near by were spectacular, Downside. No hot water after the first day. The rooms were not serviced. and I would advise you to take your own tea and coffee and loo yroll. Breakfast was good the first day but on the... More

On reading previous reviews I had great expectations of Fairy Falls ,however I feel quite disappointed. Yes ,the rooms were ok , basic but very tired looking. Tea/coffee facilities & tv. Cracked mirrors, no wardrobe handle very sharp pointy screw showing made me wonder if previous guests had cut themselves on this hence the old dried blood stains on the... More

We arranged to go scrambling at Try fan during the day, knowing we had booked to stay at Fairy Falls on the Saturday night. Then having booked in and relaxed in my room, my opinion changed. This is a comfortable, cheap and cheerful pub with accommodation. Friendly welcome, food okay and friendly locals, especially Glynn... The cheerful barmaid Wendy Juggs... More

Positives Large car Park Rooms large and adequately furnished Bathrooms large and fairly modern fittings - no mildew or mould proprietor pleasant and chatty Young man who served breakfast on second... We have just returned from a lovely 2 night break here and really enjoyed it. We used a voucher for b&b plus evening meal on the first night and the value for money was amazing. The choice for the included evening meal is smaller than when we chose off the main menu and paid on the second night, but the... More

We had a very pleasant stay here, rooms were spacious and comfortable and it was so peaceful that you could hear the waterfall at night. Excellent service - the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, we stayed the night prior to running the Snowdonia Half Marathon and we could not have had a better stay. Food was delicious and the... More

Booked a 2 night break last week, what a lovely surprise. The hotel is in a lovely village, with plenty of lovely walks. The bedrooms are set away from the Inn. They are very spacious, very clean, plenty of tea and coffee, and toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast was first class. We also ate in the evening and had... More
