We had a very comfortable stay at Caorunn. Our room was extremely smart and the ensuite shower room , modern and pristeen. We were warmly welcomed and had a lovely breakfast .We were recommended a nearby restaurant when we asked about eating places and enjoyed a wonderful meal , one of the best we have had, in Mallaig. The location... More

Nice, cosy b&b, modern in style. Bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings but very remote so car is essential to visit other villages. However, walking distance to some of the nicest beaches, which were stunning. George was very friendly and helpful in advising on local places to visit. Quite central between Arisaig and Mallaig. An enjoyable stay.

Arrived in Mallaig without anywhere to stay and saw their card in a window. Really pleased we did. We didn't have a car but hitched and walked the few miles (4 from mallaig) to the B&B. Seems a bit out the way at first but host recommended we go to the nearby beach and it was the highlight of our... More

Fabulous B&B in a great location. We were made very welcome by George and then left alone unless we needed anything. Very clean, spacious rooms and modern (self-build 2 years ago). food was lovely with a good choice of cereals, as much toast as you could eat, fab cooked breakfasts and plenty of tea/coffee/orange juice. Couldn't fault it and we... More

Confortable B&B near to wonderful beaches. The room was nice and comfortable, the bathroom was a bit little but very clean. Good breakfast served in the family kitchen and helpful hosts.

Just returned from 3 nights at Caorunn with my wife and 2 young children. The house is spotless, beds comfortable and we were all made to feel very welcome (very child-friendly). The house is a short distance from some of the best beaches in the country.

Just returned from spending 3 very relaxing days with Lorraine and George. Everything is first class, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and the standard of furnishing is excellent. George is a dab hand in the kitchen , his full Scottish breakfasts are not for those on a diet!!. You are made to feel most welcome and the location,... More

A lovely B&B with well appointed rooms - great facilities such as Sky TV. Very good breakfast, served in the family kitchen. The surrounding area is truly beautiful and great access to some stunning beaches - a car would be handy. Only overall criticism would be the constant reminders to remove our shoes as we entered the house.
