We have stayed over twice now using a deal voucher. The staff are all quite young, but good at their job and make you feel very welcome. Food was pretty standard, but very nice all the same. I think the rooms could be doing with being modernised, but that is just my own personal taste. Place is very clean etc.... More

Ate here in December using a voucher. Had eaten here previously about a year ago and were dissappointed but living locally decided to give it another chance. Food was better this time but the service let it down. Our voucher was for a meal for two and we were going to order extra drinks and a pudding but the waitress... More

went on an internet deal and was very satified all round by this hotel, food, service, rooms and bar prices were all good, a bit isolated but lots of lovely walks and beautiful scenery would highly recommend!

Nice friendly staff in a clean relaxed atmosphere. Room clean, good size with comfy bed. Bathroom old fashioned but clean. Bar area relaxed and welcoming with lovely fire, gas but impression of real very cosy. Food was excellent would definitely recommend a meal here. A great hotel for a short break away. Great location for a visit to Glengoyne distillery... More

we bought this as a online deal, read reviews which were mixed and thought we would give it a go, after all its only £60. bad move, we waited at reception for an age, only 2 staff were working and they were busy pulling pints, we eventually checked into arguably the grubbiest room we have seen so far, and we... We spent the night in this hotel on a deal and had the best value for money for a very long time. Rooms maybe needed updating (all the hotels are showing signs of wear after this recession) but were spotlessly clean. The whole hotel was clean and lovely and warm. We couldn't believe the quality of the food and wine.... More

I went to Kirkhouse Inn in Strathblane with mixed feelings along with another 5 people. We arrived on Saturday 25th January 2014 and were promptly shown to our rooms. The rooms do need updated a bit but were spotless clean and lovely and warm. We went to the bar for some lunch and refreshments which was of great standard for... More
