Stayed here for two nights with my wife and 11 month daughter, and I was impressed by a number of things. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly in helping us with our baby. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The quality of the food and the menu far surpassed our expectations. It really was difficult to decide... More

Booked a night in the Killearn to extend our stay in Scotland as we were having such a good time through travelzoo. The deal was £89 for bed, breakfast & evening meal for my wife and I. The hotel is a short drive from Loch Lomond where we had a brilliant day & arrived to be greeted by name. Our... More

We enjoyed a good value stay in this comfortable old hotel. The conservatory dining room with garden views offered an exceptional menu and generous portions of well cooked local produce. Our rooms were clean and cosy with comfortable beds, complimentary toiletries and tea making facilities. The staff were efficient and pleasant and the bar was welcoming and comfortable, as was... We had a really lovely stay and would go back. All the staff were lovely and we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and the portion sizes very generous. Our room was clean and comfortable the only reason for not giving it a higher rating was that it was quite badly in need... More

We spent 2 nights here in August. Mike, the owner is very visible making sure his guests are having a good time and everything is running smoothly. The food in the restaurant is a major highlight. The Cullen Skink especially is 'to die for' and the pepper and brandy sauce for steak is out of this world. I would come again... More

What a lovely experience! We were greeted warmly and shown to our room, which was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. After a trip to nearby Glengoyne Distillery (highly recommended) we chilled out in the Bistro bar , which has a great wee atmosphere. Dinner was delicious, as was breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble for Ryan, the chef, who is... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend break away. We arrived about 1pm. Yvonne was manning the reception and she took our luggage and showed us round the public areas. We decided to have a spot of lunch in the dining room. Both of us opted for the Cullen Skink and it was beautiful. The sun came out... More
