Arriving at Tylney Hall is spectacular, the drive is impressive and the 66 acres of grounds are immaculately kept, the rhododendron were in full bloom which helped too. For me this is the epitome of what an english manor house hotel should look like. I also loved the lounge and candlelit dining room. We had breakfast lunch and dinner and... More

When you first approach this place you look and think wow its fabulous and it is gardens reception rooms, inside and outside pools etc. all worth 5 stars. Then you get to your room and it is a massive disappointment made all the worse because outside of the room its 5 star inside a low 3 star! The rooms -... More

Tylney Hall is unique. A place to rest and enjoy countryside life. The hotel building is gorgeous, rooms were spacey and comfy. Take your time and enjoy nature and the hotel surroundings. Great pictures. Breakfast was very good (variety and quality). What makes me think twice if I would go back is level of service. Internet connection is poor everywhere,... More

Another wonderful visit to our favourite hotel. We stayed in a room over looking the lake. The flowers were in full bloom. The gardens were at their best as the hotel entertained enthusiastic gardeners encouraging them to explore the magnificent grounds. The food was particularly delicious. On Sunday it was warm enough to sit by the pool. It is only a... More

We stayed here for two nights at the end of April. Despite getting stuck in dreadful traffic on the way and having to call ahead and cancel our dinner reservation, the reception staff were polite and very helpful, showing us the 24 hour room service menu once we finally arrived. We booked via SLH and were kindly offered a room... More

I am also pleased to know that you found the accommodation and amenities completely to your satisfaction and that you found the food, wine and service from our Sommelier to be excellent. A spa week end in a magnificent settling. When you arrive at Tylney hall, you are transported back in time. The gardens are beautiful, staff are friendly. The spa was a little disappointing. The sauna was small and not working. The indoor pool and Jaccuzzi was cool. However the treatments were wonderful.

It was sunny. It was warm. It was for a small family birthday group that we booked in for our first ever meal/visit at Tylney Hall. Wow what a stunning drive up to the front door. Totally amazing. Once inside we were looked after by a very professional team and it wasn't long before we were seated for a very... More

Stayed for 2 nights as a delegate for a business conference. First impressions were excellent. Although remote it was well signposted. Lovely setting and easy access from M3. Easy parking and check in staff were efficient and courteous. No lift but they offered to take my bags to to the room. The room itself was wonderful. Very large and well... More

We stayed at tylney hall for one night in May it was a Saturday night when the hotel wasn't to busy. The room was very nice, a suite in the main house but a few little touches not quite up to 4 star standard. We first went for a drink in the terrace where things went smoothly be it some... More

I stayed at Tylney Hall for a brief weekend visit with a friend in Basingstoke. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous--a mini castle and has the service to go with it.
