We were visiting Windsor and I thought this pub was in central Windsor. It is in Old Windsor infact, which is a lovely village and we were happy with the location. It is only 10 mins by car to Windsor Castle. Newly decorated pub. Very friendly locals and staff. Room 3 was a little small, none the less clean and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights & was very pleasantly surprised. I've stayed in & around the Windsor/Slough area many times due to work, but this small, friendly guest house/local pub beats many of the larger chains hands down. A small mix-up with my room was settled as soon as I checked in. The room I had, although quite small, was... More

Before I begin this is a B&B not a 5 star luxury hotel Was looking for somewhere for my daughter to stay in the vicinity of Heathrow as she had an interview. This little gem was about 11 miles away in a more rural setting with free parking. Mixed reviews made me a little hesitant but cost was a factor.... More

We stayed for 2 nights at The Union whilst visiting family, it is a lovely place to stay with very friendly staff. Our room was everything we needed with good amenities and comfortable bed. The breakfasts were outstanding and we had dinner 1night which was delicious. We will definitely be staying here again!! The one thing I would suggest is... More

Although the room was fairly nice and the breakfast was good, there were a lot of negatives. The hall and landing carpets were filthy. No tea bags or milk in room, only coffee and 1 sugar. we found the staff unfriendly and for this reason ate elsewhere in the evening. With better management this pub could be a lot better.

Room clean, bed comfortable but tile on bathroom floor broken & loose. Daughter & her partner were staying next door & had no shower screen! Tea & coffee facilities but no milk though provided each day on request.Room was at the front of the Inn & very noisy from traffic. Blinds at window gave poor cover & very awkward to use.Stair... Saturday 26 July 2014 I made a reservation for 2 for dinner by telephone. I Informed them that I would be using a Gourmet card, but although they advertise this facility the man taking my reservation didn't have a clue about Gourmet We arrived promptly at 8-30pm as booked, taken to our table, and ordered drinks, the same man running... Apart from "losing" my original booking for two rooms, I cannot complain about the Union. My room was clean, good bed linen, amazing shower which I could have stood under for some time to cool down. I stayed with two business friends, and we had a meeting at the pub next door, so cannot review the evening food but when... More

A gem of a inn tucked away a couple of miles from Windsor, typical rooms over a pub, lovely warm welcome, small but clean comfortable room, ate from reasonably priced bar menu which was freshly prepared, tasty and service was quick. Breakfast was made to order good selection on offer. The people including the locals made this place warm and... More

Great location but we booked 2 rooms and both had bad faults.Room 1 was above the bins so we got a rude awakening with bottles being smashed in the morning.Window latch was broken and left on the window sill so we couldn't even shut the window.Tiny bathroom, you can sit on the loo and brush your teeth at the same...
