Quiet location that is well situated with the Croft retail park (off Stadium Road) with cinema, eateries, cheap Asda petrol station etc 1 min by car or 15 min walk from hotel. Only downside is no buffet breakfast option at this site. Very good value for money. Looking at the car park vehicles, this hotel is clearly popular with tradesmen... More

Hotel noise outside bad especially at weekends. Local area very busy with traffic, heavily congested roads.( Roadworks made the experience worse). Temperature in room very hot and uncontrollable (No heating on). Staff not always available and often in backroom, no one on desk. Value for money was average as room was minimalist.

Thank you for your review Alan L. While not all of our hotels have air conditioning we do provide a number of fans at reception for our guests to borrow should they need them in order to make their stay more comfortable during the hotter months. We would also have expected our reception to be available at all times, sometimes... More

Stayed in this hotel for 3 weeks. The hotel offers the bare minimum in Canadian standards but was very well priced and very clean. I would stay here again in a heart beat. The staff was very friendly. Only thing I'd change is bring able to reserve your stay or lengthened your stay with the front desk. Everything is done... More

Too close to the main road, so windows must remain shut in hot little room, painted prison grey with the Travelodge logo displayed as 'artwork'. Depressing. The receptionist was lovely and the only reason we didn't walk out on arrival.

Stayed here 3 times now for work. Rooms clean and comfortable, Not the quietest hotel - ask for a quiet room as the road is very noisy. Walls are not very thick so other noise depends on the other guests. A lot of people seem to stay here for work. Sometimes have a long wait for service at front desk... More

Travelodge hotels went down hill badly but are now much improved hotels with customer service as good as anywhere and better than most. Nothing is too much trouble for the hotel staff. However, the booking system has not really updated itself in line with the actual hotels. Being handicapped it is not very easy to get the room suitable for... More

Travelodge have cut back too far with nothing included anymore, to where you only get one pillow with one spare, not a comfortable stay. Unfortunately with everything else that is not included it seems that staff at reception is yet another cut back. Over 45 min wait at reception with no one to be seen, no response to the call...
