We stayed with our 9 month old son, for our 2nd wedding anniversary on the 6th July. Such an amazing hotel. We spent the morning strolling around Chesterfield and following that we checked in and had another stroll around the beautiful grounds. We then used the free leisure facilities and took a swim in the pool which was lovely as... More

Stayed at the hotel as part of a works conference, firstly experienced an awful allergic reaction to the lunch I ate despite being reassured it was wheat and gluten free spending the rest of the evening throwing up, the room itself was fine however the bathroom had flying ants and was provided with a can of ant spray to use... We stayed here for a wedding on the 20th June 2014. Lovely views, friendly staff and a comfy room. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay again. Just one thing, the car park could be bigger. Luckily the wedding was in the marquee so we parked away from the main hotel, but it was just at the bottom of the grounds.... More

During a two week Dream vacation to England my best friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. Since I've been home I walk the gardens in my mind each night before I go to sleep. The staff were kind and helpful, the room was comfortable and lovely, and the other guests were quite enjoyable. Thank You for this wonderful... More

Sunday 22 June I held my charity event in aid of Breast Cancer. Care and the Nottingham Hospitals Breast Cancer. Research Appel and true to form Ringwood Hall excelled in their service provided. This yearly event is held in the garden marquee which is absolutely gorgeous and set in the lovely grounds with views of Derbyshire. There are soooooo many... More

What a fantastic amount of money raised this year and a testament to the dedication of the organiser and her helpers. This annual event has been running for three years now and each time it seems to get better. It is absolutely our pleasure to host the Strawberry Tea in our Summer Garden Marquee which is ideally placed for this... More

We got married here on the 31st May 2010 and it was the best day we ever had. From start to finish we were 100% satisfied. Mrs Rona Davies is the most professional manager. She treated us like royalty. Always offering us drinks when we came to discuss the wedding and she was very flexible. Whatever we required we got!... More

Really good staff, helpful & friendly. Beautiful grounds to wander round. Rooms a little tired but still very good. Bar is well appointed. Good breakfast. Whilst a little pricey overall definitely a handy & once place to stay for Chesterfield. Only £5 in a taxi into town

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave your recent review which in general was an extremely pleasant one. As this review is anonymous it is difficult to establish exactly which rooms you are referring to as "a little tired" as all our bedrooms have undergone refurbishment within the last two years, and some as recent as this... Stayed here during a 2 day business conference. The hotel is in a beautiful garden setting. The building and rooms are generally fine, but some are starting to look tired. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. I asked to exchange my allocated room since there were 3 air conditioning units on a flat roof immediately beneath the window. Fortunately the... More

It is disappointing that we failed to impress you on your recent stay with us during your business meeting. However having contacted the organiser we understand that your personal constructive feedback is not mirrored in theirs. However, you are entitled to your opinion and express it accordingly. That said, a real paradox for me is the fact that the room... More

We booked Ringwood in May 2013 for our wedding in April 2014. Unfortunately we began to have concerns with the place as soon as we had paid our first deposit of £500. When we went to Ringwood for open days/meetings we kept asking if we could look at the bedrooms to which we were always told that none were available!... More

Every hotel manager`s worst nightmare, a one sided review with no real opportunity to present a balanced overview, particularly in light of the fact that the event never even took place here at Ringwood Hall. Clearly this criticism is so NOT typical of the service and professionalism that Ringwood attracts so much praise for, and I am just so sad... More
