We are local to Rickmansworth and due to building work we were having done, we needed a family bolt hole for 4 nights. We called Justine and she was more than welcoming and invited us to take look at the place. For us it was perfect, a self contained annexe with a large living/sleeping area, shower room and open plan... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights whilst he was on business. It is a fantastic place to stay with incredible hosts, Justine and Graham. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. The accommodation is truly wonderful with a very comfortable bed, great shower and delicious breakfasts. We even had a lit fire one night... More

What a brilliant place! Justine made us feel so welcome. We stayed in the barn, which is AMAZING! Big comfy bed, lovely powerful shower, we can't recommend it highly enough! We only had the one night but will definitely return for more! Thank you!

I received a great welcome and stayed in luxury. The ensuite room has underfloor heating and the bed is as good as the best that I have found in 50 years of travelling. I only stayed one night but felt very much at home. One word of advice to other guests would be, don't bring a big car because parking... More

This guest house only has 2 rooms to rent but provides spacious accommodation. It is situated a little off the beaten track in a quiet location close to the canal. My room was charming with lots of wooden beams and a selection of beverages and toiletries that would put many big hotel chains to shame. The bed was luxurious and... More

We loved our stay here. Justine's hospitality and attention to detail was just perfect.. Friendly, warm and welcoming, but also perfectly relaxed and low key. The annexe room was a lovely self- contained space and the setting beautiful. Loved it & would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break with good connections.

This b&b is divine! 'More like a resort', says my partner, with a lounge for us to use, canal-side outdoor furniture, even a piano and outdoor sporting equipment, and the lovely 30 minute walk along the canal into town. The rooms are large and very comfortable, and the larger of the two - the Annexe - has a fridge, stove,... More

A true gem, lovely peaceful setting beside the canal, yet good access to motorways. The annex room a delight, a very clean modern yet cottage rustic self contained room with comfortable bed, divine linen. Room has kitchen facilities, but the breakfasts provided are delicious. Highly recommend this gorgeous bed and breakfast. Terri and Ernest nz

I stayed at Springwell Barn nearly every week for one year whilst I was commuting from France for work! Springwell barn is tucked away beside the Grand Union canal in Rickmansworth and gave me a warm and wellcoming pied a terre whilst working in the UK. Very well situated - it was easy for me to reach the M25 to... More

Stayed for a few nights while visiting family in Rickmansworth and sightseeing in London. Never knew this kind of place existed, brilliant. Warm welcome from Justine who looked after us very, very well. Great breakfasts! Backing onto the canal, they have a few canoes and a paddle board, great for the eldest of our children (14) not to mention the... More
