Visited this place for the first time last night! I have to say the place looks lovely and the staff are friendly, so that was a good start! General pub food but all of us enjoyed the food and wine, a very relaxing place to eat! Certainly a place I would go back to again!

Fantastically appointed room and very good food - around the same price bracket as Premier Inns but a lot better standard - would highly recommend - good bar and outside area - parking facilities for hotel guests in a busy village

Stayed one night in room overlooking main road but double pane windows eliminated all traffic noise. Room was air conditioned and after a minor issue worked perfectly, which was just as well as it was a hot humid day. Restaurant was good and good variety of beer on tap. Overall a pleasant stay

Popped in for a quick drink on Sunday evening, we had 1 pint and and medium wine £10!!! I think thats a bit OTT, we had a Rose wine and a pint of beer, more like London prices, and the table outside was cleared but not cleaned, good location.

Good standard of accommodation. We stayed in a superior double which had recently been refurbished. The room was very spacious with a beautiful modern bathroom. We stayed here as we were attending a course at the Bartholdi Cookery School in Radlett, but we also found it to be an excellent location for visiting London. Radlett station is a minute's walk... There were nine in our party for Saturday lunch. We all had a single dish and a drink. The lady behind the bar was lovely and helpful. All the dishes arrived within a few minutes of each other and about 15 minutes after ordering. Food was really good and we'll presented and filling. All staff were good and the bill... More

Ended up at the red lion as other surrounding pubs were fully booked! It was very quiet inside the pub on a very sunny week end we decided to eat in the pub area rather than the restuarant, it has a nice atmospher and pleasant staff. Our food order arrived within 20 mins which alarm bells start ringing, my son... More

Stayed for one night and found the hotel ideal for our visit to Harry Potter studio. Parking easy, staff friendly and attentive. Room very clean and we'll equipped.Spent evening having few drinks at bar and meal. Breakfast included with price which was lovely and set us up for the day. Would recommend this hotel.

Been a long time customer of Lion. Recent leadership change has really done them in. Brought my family for dinner over bank holiday. After ordering food for kids, was told kitchen can't take any more tickets, even though restaurant was 1/3 full. Was then rudely told by a snotty waitress 15 mins later that our children's food was going to... More

My husband and I booked The Red Lion for a bank holiday break. We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The Red Lion is a Gastro pub downstairs, and a very comfortable hotel upstairs. If we had to grumble, the mattered was way to firm, but that is a personal preference. The whole place is beautifully done out, a... More
