Stayed here on a business trip to Bodmin, as it was close to the town, but not in it. The room was nice and warm and clean. The menu selection in the restaurant was limited but provided a fair selection of dishes. The food was well prepared and presented and there was a reasonable wine list.

Spent five days at this well positioned hotel for visiting all parts of Cornwall, the restaurant dinners are excellent value and quality. The deal we had was for dinner, bed and breakfast which included a free bottle of house wine with dinner. The breakfast is lovely, good quality and tasty. The bedrooms are clean but rather dated and the chairs... More

We have VERY much enjoyed our last stay at Trehellas House, on the Special January break of 4 nights for the price of 3. My Husband and I stayed in the Courtroom suite as we have done several times over the last few years. We really feel at home at Trehellas - Alistair and Debra make you feel very welcome... More

The restaurant is situated in a quiet location amongst beautiful cornish countryside, we went for a family lunch on a Sunday and first impressions were good however the poor service began to show almost immediately. We were offered drinks without seeing a drinks menu but fortunately they had what we asked for, when the waitress took our food order I... More

We stayed for 1 night and were greeted well and shown our accommodation which was good although looking slightly dated. The staff were friendly and looked after us well. We were on a bargain break which was excellent value for dinner bed and breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay, we had a room in the coach house and my mum has the courtroom, both rooms lovely. The courtroom is huge! Lovely meal in the restaurant. Service good. Excellent wine list. At first thought the room was a bit cold but within 20 mins it's was warm and stayed warm. Lovely position and would stay... More

came here with my work for our xmas meal. the meal itself was very good & the time between courses was reasonable. drinks however were extremely expensive £8 for a large wine & an appletizer especially as the cost of the meal was £20 for 3 courses

Delighted you enjoyed the meal. A large glass of quality house wine 150ml (1/3 of a bottle) is £5.75 and an apletizer is £2.75. These prices are cheaper than most hotels & restaurants round and about. We have smaller glasses which are cheaper. Taking the vat tax element out the charge was £6.80. Our Christmas menu is terrific value at... More

Stayed in the Rock double cottage for 2 nights. What a lovely little b&b. Our room was in the out building and we even had our own area to park the car. It felt like we were the only people there. quiet and very rural location which is perfect for the country lovers! Breakfast was good too, nice portion of... More

Only stayed for one night,on a bed and breakfast basis, but would quite happily have stayed longer. Room larger than expected and very comfortable. Breakfast very good and the staff very helpful. All in all a very good stay and certainly good value for money.

Our first time at Trehellas but it won't be our last. We went on an Autumn break deal which was amazing value. The room in the coach house was very comfortable although slightly noisy as it faced the main road. The owners were very friendly and the staff all polite and professional, with food you would drive a long way... More
