came here with my work for our xmas meal. the meal itself was very good & the time between courses was reasonable. drinks however were extremely expensive £8 for a large wine & an appletizer especially as the cost of the meal was £20 for 3 courses

Delighted you enjoyed the meal. A large glass of quality house wine 150ml (1/3 of a bottle) is £5.75 and an apletizer is £2.75. These prices are cheaper than most hotels & restaurants round and about. We have smaller glasses which are cheaper. Taking the vat tax element out the charge was £6.80. Our Christmas menu is terrific value at... More

Stayed in the Rock double cottage for 2 nights. What a lovely little b&b. Our room was in the out building and we even had our own area to park the car. It felt like we were the only people there. quiet and very rural location which is perfect for the country lovers! Breakfast was good too, nice portion of... More

Only stayed for one night,on a bed and breakfast basis, but would quite happily have stayed longer. Room larger than expected and very comfortable. Breakfast very good and the staff very helpful. All in all a very good stay and certainly good value for money.

Our first time at Trehellas but it won't be our last. We went on an Autumn break deal which was amazing value. The room in the coach house was very comfortable although slightly noisy as it faced the main road. The owners were very friendly and the staff all polite and professional, with food you would drive a long way... More

Lovely little inn on the side of the main road, very handy for Bodmin . Rooms have everything you need, clean and tidy. Food was absolutely fantastic both evening meal and breakfast. Staff are quite young and got a couple of things wrong, like bringing me a cup to my room instead of someone else and forgetting a glass of... More

Stayed here for a few days with my wife in mid October. The room we had was in the Coach House, a barn conversion a few yards from the main hotel and restaurant. Because the building was of stone construction the room suffered a bit from damp and there was a musty smell when we first arrived. The room faced... More

A very busy country hotel by the side of the road from Bodmin to Wadebridge ideal for me to see a customer and friend in Wadebridge. Stayed there here this week with my boss and invited clients for diner, got an excellent deal at £75 for b, b and evening meal. Had a lovely meal in the dining room with... More

Not good noisy next to gravel floor car park. Main road also very noisy through out the night. Breakfast ok. Not great. Trucks rolling past at all hours. Hotel part not as nice as restaurant part. Decor dated. Fruit bowl had mouldy orange.

My wife and I took the opportunity of the Hotels bargain break for a couple of nights at the beginning of October. We stayed here a couple of years ago and enjoyed the accomodation and food. This time it didn't rain all the time which was an added bonus! It justifiably deserves it's rating. The owner and staff are pleasant... More

We booked in to this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary (on the end of a weeks touring around Cornwall) and had a very pleasant stay. The owners imbue this place with their own character, welcoming, charming, friendly, efficient and a certain quirky style. You do get what you pay for, in service, quality of food and drink and ambience.... More
