We booked a very last minute short holiday in Cornwall to visit family. We found trehellas house to offer very competitive prices against the cheaper chain hotels and they were very accommodating of us and our 2 young children. The breakfast (inc in the room rate) was excellent - amazing choice and good quality (although with small children in tow... More

Spent the weekend here for our 33rd Wedding Anniversary. Met at reception by Marco with a bottle of Proscetto and two wine glasses! Stayed in Room 1. Fantastic views from our window. Huge room and bathroom. Soft, comfy bed and squishy pillows. Continental breakfast with hot croissants and jams, natural yogurt with fresh fruits, selection of breads with cheese and... More

We spent a superb night at the Trehellas House, wonderful room, wonderful food and wonderful staff, wonderful setting what else do you need. I would recommend to everyone. We will be returning as soon as physically possible.

Sadly we only booked for 1 night. Would of happily stayed here longer. The staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean and this standard continued through to the rooms. We had one of the best nights sleep ever in a hotel, followed by a lovely breakfast to start our day. Highly recommended.

Ok but not very friendly. No night watchman and had to sleep in our car as we arrived late and we did leave phone message advising of our late arrival. We knocked on doors and windows and we didnt see a black bell which was unrecognizable in the dark which had no sign or light above bell.

I am very sorry, We do not have an answer phone on the property so i think you must have rung the wrong number. The door bell is by the front door which is lit all night. This is connected to the owners accomadation which is manned 24 hours a day, as is the telephone. More

only stayed one night and the room was lovely - i was away from the main building in what they called " cottages" but very smart room with a very comfortable bed and a lovely big bathroom, unfortunately the shower cubical was tucked in the corner and was very small with the space they had it could have been much... Make sure you check with the hotel if you have a dog. We had a bad experience with booking.com and without the owner juggling rooms, would have had nowhere to stay. Dog friendly rooms are not in the main building which is fine if the weather is good. Food good and nice ambiance in the restaurant. Breakfast waitress obviously not... More

Sorry but I have to say something regarding the service we received, the bride and groom had booked us in for 2 nights, when we arrived and given our room it was damp and a very musky smell, we explained this to the owner I don't know his name but he was not very helpful, he explained to us that... Upon arrival we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. Our hostess explained where everything was and showed us to our room. We later met the owner who was extremely warm and welcoming. We had an issue with the WIFI and the owner was fast and responsive with trying to resolve the issue although as he honestly admitted BT... More

This was a last minute break to visit some friends in Bodmin. We got an excellent deal using one of the last minute booking web sites. On entering the premises I was met by an extremely friendly female member of staff who showed me the two rooms I had booked. Both rooms were clean and tidy, the double room was... More
