Ok but not very friendly. No night watchman and had to sleep in our car as we arrived late and we did leave phone message advising of our late arrival. We knocked on doors and windows and we didnt see a black bell which was unrecognizable in the dark which had no sign or light above bell.

I am very sorry, We do not have an answer phone on the property so i think you must have rung the wrong number. The door bell is by the front door which is lit all night. This is connected to the owners accomadation which is manned 24 hours a day, as is the telephone. More

only stayed one night and the room was lovely - i was away from the main building in what they called " cottages" but very smart room with a very comfortable bed and a lovely big bathroom, unfortunately the shower cubical was tucked in the corner and was very small with the space they had it could have been much... Make sure you check with the hotel if you have a dog. We had a bad experience with booking.com and without the owner juggling rooms, would have had nowhere to stay. Dog friendly rooms are not in the main building which is fine if the weather is good. Food good and nice ambiance in the restaurant. Breakfast waitress obviously not... More

Sorry but I have to say something regarding the service we received, the bride and groom had booked us in for 2 nights, when we arrived and given our room it was damp and a very musky smell, we explained this to the owner I don't know his name but he was not very helpful, he explained to us that... Upon arrival we were greeted and made to feel very welcome. Our hostess explained where everything was and showed us to our room. We later met the owner who was extremely warm and welcoming. We had an issue with the WIFI and the owner was fast and responsive with trying to resolve the issue although as he honestly admitted BT... More

This was a last minute break to visit some friends in Bodmin. We got an excellent deal using one of the last minute booking web sites. On entering the premises I was met by an extremely friendly female member of staff who showed me the two rooms I had booked. Both rooms were clean and tidy, the double room was... More

Location is excellent. Amenities of each room were good but lack of ironing board and iron is frustrating. Breakfasts and dinners were excellent - good variety and wines were very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the staff helped to make the trip memorable.

This was an impulse stay during a two week break in Cornwall and Devon. We actually left the previous accommodation a day early to travel to this area so that we could take more time to visit places like Port Isaac and Tintagel. The hotel was delightful. Very oldy-wordly and traditional stone building with low ceiling and beams. We booked... More

We used Trehellas House as an overnight stop on our way to Falmouth. The staff were charming, our cottage room was lovely and the food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent. It was just a shame that we only stayed for one night!

Terrific food. Very well cooked and presented dinner and a really great cooked breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. No proper bar but a couple of snug snugs where drinks can be taken but we would definitely return if in the area.
