This charming hotel is definitely worth a visit and a journey. So different and so special in a beautiful Cornwall surrounding. Excellent service and delicious food served in this magic place. It is like being in a movie. Thank You . Your cellphone will not work. Bring your hiking shoes and walk on the cliffs. And see the fishermen come... More

My husband and I stayed at the Lugger Hotel for 3 nights in mid August 2015. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is in a beautiful spot with amazing views. we stayed in the Lookout, very cosy with the best views of the cove. The food was fantastic and the special touches were lovely

From 1975 to 2000 we stayed for a few days at this hotel at least once a year. It was family-run, with cottagey furnishings and a wonderful house-party atmosphere. Several changes of ownership and makeovers later, it certainly makes an impression. Our room was stylishly appointed and one of the few directly overlooking the cove, with a glorious view. The... My wife and I stayed at the Lugger Hotel for 3 nights in mid August 2015. We found the hotel very comfortable. The situation is absolutely delightful, being right on the edge of the charming little fishing harbour and surrounded by cliffs, with the village of Portloe nestling in the valley around the fishing harbour. There are walks along the... More

We visited this cozy place as a couple on our trip across the UK. Our guide was Nick Burrington from Essential Hotels, who thoroughly planned our visit. His every recommended place was a masterpiece. Yet let me dwell on this one. The hotel is located on a cliff and you can see and hear the ocean breaking through your windows... More

What a fantastic stay at The Lugger Hotel. Our room was small but perfect with a very large comfy bed. The bonus was the deliciously scented Orla Kiely toiletries and the hot chocolate left in the room when the bed was turned down at night. We enjoyed the DBnB option (which I would highly recommend), the 3 course evening meal... More

Not because of the noisy room with stained carpet and curtains that lets lights in, but because it wasn't friendly, I wasn't once asked how was my stay or got helped in finding things to do, and the friendly atmosphere is essential to me, the location was very good though

Fantastic Boutique Hotel. Set right on the Sea in a quaint Village. Offers cosy rooms, most with stunning views. A more upmarket restaurant, which serves extremely good food. Perfect for a weekend or longer. Great walking immediately from Hotel, very friendly, exceptional service. The only reason I give 4 & not 5 stars is that by the very nature of... More

We had room 201 which must be the best in the hotel as it overlooks the tiny harbour at the front and then at the back it has its own private terrace so you can get the view from both directions. There is fresh milk in the fridge, together with water and sweets and it is the little touches that... More
