The Lugger is undoubtedly a nice hotel and the location is lovely if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and secluded but the room was small and the aspect was not great, looking out onto the road. It was expensive for what it was, especially considering it was out of season and though the room was clean and comfortable with... More

Booked a three night stay through Secret Escapes on a bed, breakfast and three course evening meal. We were slightly apprehensive as we had never been here before. However, any concerns we may of had disappeared. The location was typical Cornish fishing village with narrow winding road down to The Lugger. There was plenty of parking, and the staff on... More

We had a three night break at The Lugger Hotel. It was wonderful! This is a great location foe exploring the Roseland Penninsula. The room was very comfortable & cosy. At night the bed was turned down & hot water bottles put in the bed, also marshmallow & hot chocolate mix left ready to make. When we returned to the... More

Booked online for a midweek DBB stay. Asked to relocate from allocated room that faced onto a wall to one with a real sea view. Certainly worth the extra £20 per night! Staff were really helpful and friendly. Catering was exceptional. Will return.

Was treated to a night at The Lugger by my husband for my birthday. At check in, we were told that we had been given a complimentary upgrade of our room. Wow, the room was to die for! The French doors opened, and there, right in front of us was the sea. We sat and enjoyed a bottle of champagne,... More

Stayed and ate here for 2 nights. Fantastic location and great food, service and clean and tidy accommodation. The perfect place to base yourself if you want to trek the coastal path. The Lugger provides Wellington boots for this purpose, don't think you won't need them.

Have visited this hotel several times over the last few years and have always been really pleased with the accommodation food and staff. It is in a fabulous location. We have always found the food to be off wonderful quality. We have always found the staff to be friendly efficient and very welcoming.

We have just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at The Lugger, and can only describe it as as near to perfection as you can get !! The location is stunning and totally unspoilt with easy access to the Southwest Coastal path and many other local walks. Our room in the annex was quiet, clean and beautiful, with crisp... More

We have just had three days most enjoyable stay at the Lugger. The staff made us very welcome. Our room was comfortable and each evening our bed was turned down with the extra of hot water bottles to warm our sheets! Additionally, a hot chocolate mix and marsh mellows were provided for a night cap. Breakfast and dinner were great... More

My partner surprised me with a Friday night stay here for a pre birthday present. She had stayed here with her sister earlier in the year and had raved about the place ever since. On arrival we were shown a selection of rooms to choose from. (The young lady behind reception was both very friendly (in a genuine way), and... More
